I just feel unusually lonely right now.

To be honest, no one here has really 'befriended' me since I came.

All that happened in the intro thread was people came by just to say 'welcome to the forums' and just move on.

So..that's all. I just didn't feel like I was accepted.

Also, I didn't mean to shove Osakacon down your throats, I just want this to be a success so if people still come to it years from now, I'll have the satisfaction of knowing that I made it possible.

Now you're just being emo, cut me down if you want people but this is the kind of stuff you should leave at home. If you feel down, talk to a friend about it. I myself started out with a simple hello, but you know what? I'm active, I make my presence known, I join in talks, thats how you make friends. People don't magically swarm. You have to get out there and earn it. Pulling stunts like this will only make people want to stay away from you. I tried to be nice to you when you PMed me, if you want to call me unaccepting, that's fine, you can ignore me then.

All of us understand what it feels like to be new at something. I remember the first time I entered a chat-room or joined forums. It's a totally different experience. It is very overwhelming and frankly, it's nothing like talking to someone face to face. Being new is understandable. One thing is I understand, being lonely sucks. Tonight I called every person i knew because I wanted to go see The Watchmen tonight. None of my friends wanted to go. So here I am alone, in my house, on a saturday. This is a lonely feeling. But do I want to cry for attention in a public forum because I'm really not feeling like myself? In all honesty, I hope the best for you and I truly hope you feel better. Hopefully this was a learning experience for you.
