Is there any way to find out exactly WHO is setting up booths, what companies are selling anime stuff this year?

In the past they have posted on the main website the list of exhibitors who were going to be attending ACEN. As Aygen said this may happen closer to the con.

i know this is a little off topic but last year we had some problems with price gouging. is there going to be anything done about it? i know the best way to fight over priced items is to not go to a dealer but its still annouying. i looked at a dealer with a cthulthu bag and they were selling it for $80 bucks and i got mine for $50 AFTER shipping. does acen have any official stance on mark-up on items?

We don't like it, but there's unfortunately very little we can do. We have terms in our contract that prohibit certain actions, but to dictate pricing is subjective enough, and draconian enough, that it would drive away many vendors. It's also something that we'd then have to try and manage, and ultimately with the size of our dealer's room it wouldn't be very enforcable. I'm sorry.

Now, if you spot someone selling bootlegs--tell us. That is clearly prohibited.
Likewise selling live steel or adult merchandise to minors, etc etc.

Any update on a more recent Exhibitors/industry list. I haven't noticed a list on ACEN's website and it is about a month out.

I know The web peeps are busy working on getting all the guest stuff done, so we can get that out first. So they are working on it just very busy.

I have not send it to Website people. So it is not them who are holding out (they be wonderful ).
I am working on getting as much information as I can so that everything can be done and the whole list can be as much vendors we can release at that given time.

So you may be wondering, "Is this all?". No and yes, by that I mean we can still accept more, but these are all that are with us so far. I know it is one week until convention but now you know.

On a slightly separate note, I hope everyone is excited to see these vendors. There is a wide range of what is available to purchase and see, and I can safely assume that there is something for everyone. I recommend stopping by each and everyone, I know I will.

Oh thank you for the update! It's a nice list so far!

On the main Acen website under Exhibitors it says "Due to the popularity of Anime Central's Exhibit Hall, most of the booths have been sold." But you say you can still accept more? So are there still more potential dealers waiting to be approved? Since the dealer's room is my favorite part of Acen, the more dealers there are the happier I get!
