I can totally have a meetup, but Saturday is really bad for me anytime before 7 pm. I do cosplay Haru, so any chance of cosplaying him again will be fun. The best day for me though for a meetup would be Friday afternoon or Friday evening, past 8 pm.

I was the Hatori in the decent sized FB group last year. All of us who were in the group are doing those costumes again (except for the Rin, she isnt coming this year).

I loved my Hatori costume so much, it was such a simple costume, but I just seemed to pull it off real well (even Laura Bailey commented on my costume )

If I do go this year, I will be Tohru~ She was my first ever cosplay, so being her again will be so much fun and bring so much memories back

I think a Saturday meet-up would be lovely~

I keep seeing this post and am finding it harder and harder to resist joining in... (I'm supposed to be in IRT! I can't be running around in cosplay all throughout the con!) However, I'm likely bringing a dark blue suit and light blue dress shirt for Thobari (Nabari no Ou) cosplay, so if I also bring a black tie, put on my glasses, and re-style my hair, I could do Shigure in a suit cosplay... But the likely-ness of pulling it off for a photo-shoot... I really don't know. Thought I'd throw it out though, just in case I can somehow work that into my already over-flowing-with-busy schedule ._.; Above all, IRT is priority.

I cosplayed as Hatori a few years ago, with my younger sister as Ritsu and a male friend of hers as Ayame. It was enjoyable. People kept remarking that I looked as though I had stepped right out of the manga. I have to agree that it was one of my most accurate cosplay.

Saturday is bad for me unfortunally, unless it's really early in the morning like 9 or 10. I have a bunch of photoshoots lined up rest of Saturday.

I have a Hetalia group then unfortunally on Saturday. And I didn't say anything about 7pm. Morning before 11 am is the only time on Saturday I can meetup.

Our mega-FB group will back this year and bigger than ever. I'll be Ayame Sohma again this year, because it's my most favorite cosplay ever. Saturday is the best day for our group to do a photoshoot.

You must have been a wonderful Hatori then as well!

I cannot wait for Acen even more now~ I hope we all are able to come up with a time convenient for everyone, though.

I race motocross on the weekends and I broke it about a month ago and its still healing

Ouch, hope its all healed up by the con. I'll try to restrain myself, but I will be Kagura, so there's no guarantees. Any time Saturday will be fine with me. I can't say for sure that I'll be able to make it though. I'm working in the dealer's room, but I can probably break free for long enough to attend. If not stop by and say hi to me. Also, anything after say 6 or so is not such a good idea, as most people want to either get in line for the masquerade, or go out for dinner and a few drinks like I'll be doing.

That should work fine for me. I'll be working for a friend of mine. His company is Foreign Expressions and he sells hand painted t-shirts, bags, and stuff. I help him out and he gives me a free badge, which won't turn out to be free because I'll most likely buy a couple hundred bucks worth of stuff from him. He's actually painting a quilt for me right now, hope he gets it done by the con.

I love the stuff he does. I've bought several T-shirts, a jacket, and a couple paintings. I'll be at the con Friday afternoon sometime, and I'm not sure what costume I'll go for that day. I have a class that morning, potentially a final for history. The timing of the con really stinks for me this year, as my finals are the week after. I would come in costume, but I think my class might find it somewhat strange.

at my high school we had a cosplay club and every monday, wensday and friday we cosplayed around the school. if I can ill try to post some pics from holloween when we all came dressed in our resident evil cosplays.

BTW...

We had an excellent spot for our Fruba photoshoot last year. It's outside in an area between the Hyatt and the convention center, near the fountain area. There are some trees which make for some good back ground shots.
