Just wanted to check in and say Hello! I'll be a model, but mostly a make-up stylist. If anyone wanted to send my some pictures of you outfits so I could be inspired, I just finished making some head sheets today to start playing with the designs. I plan on bring a binder of designs to the show that people can look through and decide on (obviously I can make up things on the spot, but these will just be pre-made ideas so I don't have to come up with 50 on the spot that are different)

I'm bringing a Lady Gaga costume for VK/American portion; but I may be of more help if I do a steampunk costume since I can spend the show working with people before they take the runway. I have a steampunk outfit as well.

As for the questions about make-up being provided. I think I remember asking Kittie via e-mail if I had to bring anything and she said they would be provided by the models. Maybe I am remembering this wrong; but that's what I know. However, I do plan on bringing some stuff. I really wanna get some make-up pencils in silver, bronze and gold for the steampunk make-up. (And for my Lady G Lightning Bolt!)

YES,. for the ones who are unsure on what to do with their make up...i did mention that the stylists will have their own supplies, but if you wanna bring in your own stuff that you prefer or have any special requests, please let us know as soon as you can! i will also be bringing in some stuff for everyone to use as well

I would love to be a model for the Decora category. But I will have to see, I don't have all of my accessories yet. ^^; (hopefully I can get them by tomorrow when I go shopping. I also want to be able to donate a few accessories as well.)
I'll wait before submitting an application. I hear it's going to be Friday afternoon, is there a guesstimate on what the general time may be? ('Cause if I did send in an application I'd have to tell the group I'm going with that we would have to leave early, we're all high school students and we still have classes in session. We all get out at 3:05 and are taking the train, which may take another hour for us.)

Which brings up another question, is there a certain age you have to be to model the outfits?

I'm starting one too!! it's gonna be started in May. I;m actually doing a different kind of lolita that is designed specifically for adults. i noticed that lolita is really for children, that is why some of it looks weird on older ppl. but my line will be affordable and age appropriate!! I can hardly wait. that's why i'm so excited for this fashion show cuz for the first time, my designs will be shown in public. you have no idea how amazing it is for this show to finally be at ACEN cuz it gives designers an opportunity to show off their talent. thanks a lot!!!

Do you have any more information on the time on Friday? And how early do we need to get there before the show? I'm doing pirate lolita so there's not a whole lot of makeup I need to have put on as opposed to visual kei. Just wondering because I have a photoshoot at 2 that I really wanted to go to so I don't want them to run to close together.

i was wondering if you still needed some people for the himegyaru catergory? i am going to wear a himegyaru outfit and was interested if you needed more models. also i have some lolita skirts i am willing to lend if needed. i mist admit they are big but if anyone can is good with a needle maybe they can make them work. thanx 4 ur time

pirate lolita? i don't remember getting an app for that? did you send one in? i would love to have a pirate lolita in the show!

the schedule keeps changing due to bands and whatnot...the TENATIVE time is 5-6pm for the show, but i need people to be there at 4pm...i doubt they this will change last minute, but you never know?!

Yay! Just before this I had a dream I was a model..And then I checked the ACEN site and I saw that and im all WOOT~!
Well, personally, I'd LOVE to enter..But since im not old enough to drive myself there...(oh boy) one of my family members will have to..Which might be a problem with their work schedules..But it'll work out...

What im more..Umm..Worried? About, is age difference..I kinda feel like I'm gonna be really young among all the people there..Can you guys kinda tell me what ages are gonna be there? ._. I wanna feel ready for whatever is waiting for me there.

I don't think age is a factor at all! From what I know, we have people modeling from both genders, many sizes and ages. If you have an outfit youd like to show off or potentially need to borrow, then go for it and apply! The only problem is that you would have to work it out with your parents on when your getting to acen and everything like that, and that youd have your badge. Waiting in line is no fun and there is no guarantee that youd be out in time. But for the fun of it, go ahead and apply. There's no hurt in doing so <3

Thanks! I'm reassured. I don't think my family would mind. Although im not too sure if they'll be happy to buy me a 2 day badge..Since im planning to come in a group on Saturday..But I can always spend my own money on the Friday badge, no biggie. -^^- But that does make my chances a little slimmer..Since my family is kind of broke...*and are cheap at the moment*. But I shall keep trying! =< *chatters on*

I have a quick question! We have to submit pics of our outfits for approval by April 30th, right? Do we need pics of us wearing the whole outfit together, or would it be ok to show the items we're wearing on hangers or laying flat?

(I have like 3 jobs, so I may not have time to get some good pics of me in the outfit before the 30th. " )
