I'd actually really like to know, too. :( I hope it's not too late. I did a search on the forums and everything and found nothing...

I think they might do something next month. Let's try to remind the staff as the date approaches. There seems to have been a bit of interest, even from last year.

I like ACen Idol. I wish they would bring back the karaoke, unless it still is there and I could not find it. I sang karaoke in this room and there was free food and stuff. I remember seeing it in '05, '04 and maybe '03 too. > 3<

it would be fantastic if this event was ran again. I hope they do.

I believe I responded to this in a separate thread. Please do not match double threads. I do not moderate these forums only Panel Programming.

This event will NOT be going on this year as far as I know. It is up to the Special Events DH and a volunteer from Panels to run it, and the girl who usually does it, is not attending Acen this year I believe. Thats about as far as I know.

I would say its 100% NOT happening at this point, but you never know.

Aw man... I wanted it to happen again for this year. At least try to bring back karaoke then?

Voni** is away at school (somewhere out East, I think), so I don't believe she'll be joining us this year. Which is lamentable, yes, but we really need some sort of singing... exposition, 'cos otherwise I'll end up belting it out in the middle of the hotel. Which may, or may not be, ridiculously embarrassing. xD

From whatI know, there is no idol scheduled for this year. I offered to run it, but then I got wrapped up with Cosplay Chess.
Floating around the forums every so often.

I'd love to see the Karaoke brought back! It was so fun at ACEN 2005 and I've been sad to see it become less and less over the years and now it's gone! *poof*!
