As the title says, the ACen 2009 Masquerade Pre-reg is now open.

Any entries received before 1/1/2009 12:01 AM will be automaticly deleted.

As batches of entries are processed, tallies will be posted here, every 7-21 days.

All possible skits entries, please take note. There will be _NO_ 'at-con' skit registration. You MUST pre-reg.

Round One complete! Tally-time:

Skit pre-registrations 1 - 14 have now been e-mailed out (11 left unless I am mis-remembering the total # of entries being accepted).
Walk-on pre-registrations 1 - 8 have now been e-mailed out (lots left).

This concludes the processing of all pre-registrations prior to Jan 5, 2009 3:00 am EST. Check your email boxes!

To help you find them: the pre-reg emails are coming from acen.masq@gmail.com since I had trouble logging into the usual acen_masq@ameritech.net. Their subject begins "ACen 2009: Masq" and includes your masquerade and craftmanship IDs -- if you don't see a "Craft ID xxx", you aren't signed up for craftmanship judging.

Please be sure to read the email in detail, especially the PS at the bottom (if you're a walk-on or your skit id is higher than S10: S1-S10 don't have the PS but instead received a separate email with the post-script information).

If you believe you should have received an email but didn't, please contact me at acen.masq@gmail.com.

Thanks!

I realize I made a mistake on my entry form. Is there any way to correct it once it's been submitted?

Good God, things are going fast this year....that or I'm getting old and time is speeding up. @.@ 3 slots left? I'm glad I made sure our's got sent in today...although with only 3 left, I hope I we made it in on time.

Skit slots are now full -- I still need to send e-mails out to the last three because it's been one of those weeks (birthday -- yay! take mom-in-law to doctor instead of her having an ambulance ride -- not-so-yay!), but will get that done tomorrow.

This confuses me a bit when your registration fact form says this:

"As a courtesy, a limited number of slots are reserved for 'At Con' registrations. These will go fast so get registered early!"
http://www.acen.org/...masquerade.html

Am I mistaken?Or is this rule supposed to be applied to crasftsmanship and not masquerade applicants?

If so this should be changed because not everyone gets on the forums and it is misleading.

This is applicable to the Masquerade in that there will be 'Walk-On' slots left open for 'at-con' registrations.

Due to incidents in the past, the "pre-reg only" for skits was instituted.

Hi, i was wondering... is it possible to register as a back-up skit? Me and my friend didn't realize that there weren't any walk-on skits this year and i just saw the news... so it sucks a quite a bit for us but either way, is there any possibility we could fill in a spot that is dropped or simply go on if there aren't too many walk-ons thus giving more time for skits? Thanks.

There are walk-on entry spots still left, but you will need to wait till ACen to register at the Masuqerade Office.

There are no skits spots left for this year.

I didn't go to the masquerade last yr, so I don't know much about it, but do you need a ticket to come and watch? If so, where can I get one?

For skits, no. Skits were pre-reg only and they are full. There is no at-con reg for skits.

For walk-ons/craftsmanship, yes. There is at-con registration and a few spots left from what I can tell, and Jazhed just informed us that the location/hours of the masquerade office will be posted hopefully by Friday.

Hey there, another question:

Are these current as of today? Or have there been any changes to the number of slots left? I'm planning on registering at the con in the intermediate level, but I'm afraid that there won't be any left by the time I get there at noon. ;__;

Thanks again!

In looking over the registrations, there still appears to be roughly a half dozen slots still open in craftsmanship intermediate.

And... it seems people can not/do not read all the rules and guidelines. Pre-reg closed April 1st, but people are still trying to pre-reg.

*sigh*

If you read the date, it says February 21st, 2009. So that would not be the day you replied to that.

Edit: Change the last sentence.

I'm essentially just asking if that list is up to date as of the day that I posted my question. Is there still intermediate craftsmanship spots left is what I'm asking.

Is that clear enough to you?

There's no need for an attitude. I just thought you were asking about that list that was posted in February. Sorry. :\
