So far the time is 7 pm to 9 pm Friday May the 8th. Location the Hyatt, room number to be announced. So we will meet by the elevators on the floor with the RECEPTION desks.

I think this should be either right before or after the Lolita Fashion show...making it at the same time of the show would conflict with schedules and perhaps leave people to decide on which one they would like to go to. I think the decided time as of now is 8-9? I'll have to check back on that, but its just a suggestion! I think with Lolita being the main interest, why make people decide on one? <3

that would be cool to go to a the tea party before the fashion show *assuming people wont have other things to get to im not sure what im bringing yet and should we provide our own mugs or will cups be given out?? turns out i may not have a petticoat on time so my dress will be a bit flat *shrug* i cant wait for this

Ya, its going to be fun but I hope it doesn't run during the fashion show...

I plan to bringing something to munch for everyone on and possible some AMV entertainment if there is a decent Tellie to add to the fun...

that actually a really good point! i'll ask carmeleye. the only conflict would be that cosplay chess is ight before that time. but if carmel did push it back till after the show we would have more time to setup. it could be a late night lolita slumber party for you girls, and some guys. so after will most likely be the choice. hope gets good for sakura and every one.

I just got an announcement about the fashion show and it has been pushed back in the day around 3-4. There is nothing set in stone yet...unfortunately! >.<

As for those asking about tea...I strongly recommended bringing your own mugs/tea cups/tea pots, and don't let strangers borrow them (although sharing a tea pot should be fine ). As much as I like to think that everyone is going to be courteous to everyone else at the tea party, if someone breaks your most priced mug, no amount of apologies can fix that, right? The best way to avoid tragedies is prevention. So only lent out ones that you wouldn't mind breaking, and use your favorite ones for yourself/your companions.

Also, I'd be -very- careful with tea. Tea stains are pretty hard to wash out. Unless you have kuro-lolita, you main ruin your dress! ;-;

As for food, I recommend that everyone bring enough to feed yourself and perhaps 2 other people (so 3 servings). This is to minimize wasting food. Also, if, for whatever reason, you can't eat any of the other snacks at the tea party, at least you've bought something that you yourself wouldn't mind eating, but obviously you don't want to overstuff yourself, so 3 servings is the best amount.

These are just my recommendations from what I observed last year. O, also, Kasin/CaramelEyes: you should come up with ice breaker games to play :] it's the host's job to make sure that all his/here guests are comfortable and having fun. Last year I suggested that we play 2 Truths and 1 Lie to get started, and things kicked off pretty nicely from there. So no pressure or anything, but an ice breaker would be nice :]

oh carmeleyes, did state that if your not wearing a lolita or gothic lolita dress it is fine, but try to where something in a gothic/punk style.

it will also help people find you.

Err u sure do have an awful lot of suggestions...how come ur not hosting one?? would probably be a great party.

But I digress. I will think of some things. I’m not going to be posting every smidgen, I don’t have the time. But rest assured, you will be entertained.

Eeek I'm not trying to steal the spotlight or anything like that :C if I came off that way, I'm really sorry :'C It's just that I like coming up with ideas and I like having fun and seeing other people have fun, that's why I'm throwing all these ideas out there. As for why I don't host my own parties...well, I'm not a very responsible person, to be truthful. I like being the adviser more than being the host/leader :]
