I idle in there. It's normally dead. I was banned from #acen because I said hello. Therefore I don't use #acen

As a newcomer it left a terrible impression on me. When I hopped into #acen the first time, I just joined the boards. To this day I refuse to go in there just because of that one experience. That's all I really have to say about it.

.... I used to be very active on this forum. A couple years ago there was a lot of drama in the ACen irc room, it's part of why I stopped. FlyingElf has it right. These guys are elitest pricks. Every single person hop+ is. Especially BakaNeko. Dude is a total douche.

I think people grossly over exaggerate the banning and such.

As the person who gets banned the absolute most (second is probably the bot) I can tell you that it is not some horrible place that somehow everyone makes it out to be.

I think that just made my day. There needs to be a Knives DERP picture.

IRC is IRC. Kicking is part of life. I used to have a shortcut for the sole purpose of quick-kicking one guy with three keystrokes. I'm not sure kickbanning is love, but I know watching people squawk about it makes me smile.

I'll have to check it out. It'll at least be an excuse to install a client again.

I admit being a crybaby about the kick banning. It's more games than anything.

If you get banned from #acen move to #anicentral and set your auto rejoin to an aggressive setting. Most people reside in both channels nowadays.
