Bah, I am just curious because I am going to closet cosplay as Jasper at the opening of the movie this month so I am just wondering if anyone is going to be doing a Twilight Series cosplay at Acen this year.

Lmao! That is the most violent reaction I have ever heard to the series. People either are completely obssessed or utterly hate the series. -shrugs- I think it is decent but nothing to rave about. I'm only going to the opening because it is free due to the fact my friends wanted a Jasper and I am the only one with curly blonde short hair.

As for Twilight cosplay? The characters are way too simple to cosplay as (don't get me wrong, the series is amazing) but an Alice might be cool. . .

Twilight is such a terrible series. Stephanie Meyers doesn't do vampires justice. Vampires just don't sparkle. They are blood thirsty lusty fiends. She writes like a 12 year old fan-fiction writer and her 'good' vampires are too perfect that it sickens me. Bella is the mary-sue of mary-sues who whines and goes all emo whenever Edward isn't there like in the second book. Bella is also a whore for kissing Jacob in front of Edward. Also the story was too predictable and the ending sucked too. Yeah, I wanted to burn the books also, but they were my friend's. x3 My rant is finished. lol You can go ahead and do it, there's no one stopping you, I just won't guarantee people recognizing you. Well, I wouldn't because they just look like normal people to me. :\

I just began reading Twilight and I am floored by it. I always heard positive things about the series and when I heard there was a movie coming out, I was motivated into finally reading it (I like to read the book before watching the movie). And I already bought the next one in the series so it's ready for when I finish the first one!

The people I talked to about the book love it (maybe its just where I live). I'm seeing a lot more aminosity towards it on the Internet though...but wasn't that how Harry Potter was >.>

I agree though that it would be hard to cosplay like any manga series that the people where plain clothes. It's one of those wear your normal clothes and just claim to be cosplaying that person.

I think the movie is gonna suck. Especially with most of the people being unknown actors. The only known ones are Edward and Bella at least that I know of. I don't know if anyone else is well known. I just know that I only know of Edward and Bella's actors. I just wanna go to the midnight show and yell, "Edward sucks!" "Jacob sucks!" "Bella is a whore!" just to see the reactions of the screaming giddy fangirls. I'm just not a fan of her twisting vampires into being perfect sparkling beings. It's more towards teeny boppers than anyone else. I like my Anne Rice and Laurell K. Hamilton. :3 But I hope you enjoy the series. I'm not a fan of it, but I hope that you have fun reading it. :3

I understand you have differing views, but that's kinda immature to even consider doing that. Just because others like what you do not doesn't mean you have to put them down for it... :\ I'm not saying this to be mean either, it's just it seems like you're being more critical to fans than the authors. **shrug**

I totally understand, but I get a kick outta that some times. :3 I can be a jerk, but it's just me. I'm just not big on giddy fan girls who are all like, "marry me edward! I love you!" or stuff like that. It's all fun and games for me. I may be immature at times, but it's just who I am. Besides, I'll get kicked out for starting a ruckus so I might not even do it.

I shall keep my enjoyment of the first three books to myself for fear of being hung by my toenails. I like to pretend book four doesn't exist and that when I read the word sparkle she means there's a brand new dime on the ground.

But, erm.. yeah.. unless you found an outfit from the movie that screams "omg vampire" that people would be able to pick out from a crowd and then scream "omg vampire" as well.. then I think you'd just be passed up as a random person.

And I do love the Anita Blake series but I favor the early books moreso then the latest ones... that series is becoming a smut series. :x

Anita Blake is pretty bad @$$ XD I love all the Laurell K Hamilton books. They are written better than the twilight series, and they actually have good story lines and good vampires!

Yeah, I agree that Laurell K. Hamilton's books are becoming more smutty, but there's a reason for that, and I think it's pretty nifty. I personally don't care. It's still fun to read! :3

Well, for the movie opening I am just getting casual attire: button up shirt, vest, black slacks and my 4 in heels hidden under the slacks so I look tall, lol. Then I am doing the pale face, sleep deprived eye makeup, and then as being Jasper, I am going to make all those bitemark scars on his arms. Simple closet cosplay really xD;
