Cus I'm going as Amu Hinamori to the TN one most likely. My boyfriend would be Ikuto.

OMG!!! i have a Su cosplay its basicly done...(needs touch ups and such but thats it) WE SHOULD ALL DEFFENTLY MEET UP!!! if any of you were at Youmacon then you might have seen me there on Saturday in my Su cosplay or else in my Rika cosplay

I'm trying to figure out what version of Amu I want to do. I've got school Amu already done, but I am seriously considering Amulet Fairy(transformation with Kiseki), or Amulet Heart. Gah! Decisions decisions!

Alrighty, since no one's posted in a while I'm bringing this topic back from the dead.

I've decided that I was going to make Amulet Heart to wear on Friday, and probably regular Amu either Thursday or Sunday. I'm not completely sure yet.

What day would you guys like to do a Shugo Chara shoot? How does Friday afternoon sound to you all?

I won't be cosplay Shugo Chara anymore I just don't have enough time...or enough money. Paying for my own hotel room has really decreased my funds, even if I'm sharing with friends. I would have still tried for it, but there is no way my friends are going to finish theirs on time for Acen.

So instead we're going to work on them over summer for Acen 10. Although I'm not sure I still want to do Amulet Heart. I really like Amulet Dia's outfit...

Awww!! That stinks! Aren't your friends going to help pitch in for the hotel room? It's understandable about not having enough funds.. I know exactly what that feels like

Yeah, but staying for three nights it's still $150 each. And with the recession I've been unable to find a job, so...I'm a little stuck. Especially after paying $50 for Matt's boots. I cannot believe it costed so much for such a simple cosplay.

So yeah, I'll be taking pictures, but not cosplay Next year though. Just don't know who for sure

I guess you could always order it online but shipping is a pain. If you just needed the white for the flag I wouldn't mind going to the fabric store near me, and making it for you. But Amulet Angel also has some white in her outfit. D:

you could use a pastel pink colored fabric and get those pre-made white ruffles at a walmart or something. you would just need some thick pink ribbon and make yourself some little wings for your ponytails

Before I forget, I might as well asked what everyone is doing/did for their eggs and humpty lock. I was thinking of asking my friend in Japan or getting the official set off ebay, but that's quite a bit of money. So, I was thinking of using easter eggs and then buying a regular lock. Then I'll just paint them, etc. whatever I have to do. <3

Around Easter time, walk in the seasonal aisle of walmart where they have all the easter candy. I know last year I had grabbed a red, blue, and green Pop Rocks candy egg for Ran Miki and Su. The pop rocks that were in there were God awful (they were cotton candy flavored) but they worked AWESOME for their eggs. I seem to recall they carry them every year. I took a pair of scissors to the top of the egg and kept spinning it around to drill a hole in the top carefully (because obviously I didn't want to break them. I looped the Ran, Miki, and Su keychains in the eggs with some elastic through the top to attach it to elastic to attach to my belt (This was when I was doing manga style before she got that lovely pouch ^*^). I used some paint pens and put the little designs on them and it worked awesome It was a fraction of the cost of the ones on ebay O_o...Even though I realllllly wanted it. As for the Humpty lock, people occasionally put these gachapon locks on ebay ( http://cgi.ebay.com/Shugo-Chara-Shugotama-...93%3A1|294%3A50 ). I got mine from someone on live journal, because I didn't need them all O_o.

haha, really? XD I can tell she's very smart, her other cosplays are great too. <3

Oh, and I've also been thinking what shoes I want to wear when I'm Amu. I was thinking of my black sneakers since I don't want to wear any dress shoes if I'm going to be on my feet all day. When I was in 5th grade though I had shoes exactly like Amu's. They even had little charms on them like a heart, diamond, etc. They even had plaid inside of them... they were like the perfect shoes for her but they don't fit anymore... ; __ ;
