Calling all scary mo-fos, to gather together to appease the silent hill gods.

My boyfriend is going as pyramid head, and he went to Acen 2006, but he was never involved in a SH photoshoot and he really liked the nurse costumes.

Pyramid Head Sexh <--- Thats him up close.

Uber Tall Pyramid head <--- He made boots to make him uber tall. His head is touching the ceiling. He is making new boots this year to make him exactly 7ft tall. Oh boy.

So i'm making this topic for him, since I have too many cosplays to do already (though he wants me to be the 'bitch in the box' from Fatal Frame 2)

Anyone else out there cosplaying from Silent Hill? :0

What cosplay are you looking for? Personally I live about 45 min. to an hr. from the chicago land area. I just started making my own cosplays, so they probably aren't the BEST cosplays available, though that depends on what you're looking for. If you're willing to pay, I'll only ask for a bit of money for the fabric.

I fall in the same catigory when it comes to cosplay and a while back I found someone who've made me multiple costumes. His name is shannon. They ranged from cheep (price only) to expencive all depending on what you want. They do send it to you instead of pickup, but i've never been disapointed. The key is to give them exact measurements. Otherwise you have to have them alter it, and that takes needless time. This year I went all out and had them custome make me an exact replica for the Watchmen movie. I cant wait. I hpoe this helps.

I think what you should do is to ask for more information... Theres plenty of people on here that make their own costumes and we could help you try to make yours. But if your persistent on having someone make it for yourself you should tell us what costume you want, your price range (approx), what fabrics you would prefer, any little details about your costume, and reference pictures. Also, if someone says that they will make it for you, make sure you ask for a portfolio or some sort of gallery of what they have done before so you can see their talent.

Ditto to what Sa-chan said. I already have 5 commissions for Acen this year, and I require all of what she said before I even consider making the costume.

Limebarb is in Chicago, although I hear she's always booked. The costumes that her and her crew make are always gorgeous, but do come at a price.
