Hello October is finally here and that means its time for Halloween. A cosplayers favorite holiday.

I want to do something big for this year's Halloween celebration, I think we should go visit a corn maze and walk around it in costume. I think I will break out my ghetto Pyramid head. But I think we should go to a restaurant first then to the farm and maze.

I have narrowed it down to two possible farms, they both have mazes and are located in the south/ southwest suburbs. I want to make sure we can bring props. Once I have picked a farm, I will put a MapQuest link so everyone will know where it is located.

As far as eating, we are planning on going to the Patio restrauant, its smiliar to Portillos. It's located in Orland. The farm does have a concession stand, so if you don't make it to the restrauant, you can snack on something there.

If you need a ride, make a post and say where you live or what landmark you are close to (ex. Woodsfield mall). If you are driving and are willing to drive people in your area, please post that.

The farm has two corn mazes, one that is 0.9 miles and another that is 3.5 miles. There are also several smaller games and a hay ride, the website has more detail. Admission is $7, but the website has a $1 coupon. So admission is really $6. They are open from 11am to 7pm.

Well if people don't mind, there are all sorts for farms with corn mazes and haunted houses in NWI, it'll be closer then the dunes and there are a ton of resurants in the area. I'd have to know soon though because I usually work on sundays, but if it's after 3 I can definately at least go eat with you, but I'd like to be able to request off.

My parents might not be willing to let me frolic out on a Sunday and I don't even know if I'll be putting the effort into a costume seeing as I doubt I'll be able to wear one on Halloween... >>

Just some friendly advice.
Wear sturdy sensible waterproof shoes it could get muddy.
Don't wear any thing that's drags on the ground behind you or you can trip on .

I vote Patio the ribs there are epic.

Yes break out the blood. It will be especially funny when we go to the restrauant.
