DEATH NOTE II: THE LAST NAME is based on the hit supernatural action mystery manga series written by Tsugumi Ohba and illustrated by Takeshi Obata. The film is a sequel to the movie DEATH NOTE, which closely followed major plot elements from the original manga series, but also introduces several new key story elements. Taking place right after the conclusion of the first movie, Light Yagami joins the investigation team in pursuit of the serial killer known as "Kira.” While L still strongly suspects that Light is "Kira,” Light Yagami continues to seek out the real name of L so he can kill him with his Death Note. Will L be able to catch "Kira" before he gets killed? Who will be the last name written in the Death Note book?
This film is not rated. Material may be inappropriate for those under 16.
Don't miss your chance to see DEATH NOTE larger-than-life on the big screen!

The first one wasn't bad at all in theaters, except for the fact that everyone where I went was acting like a bunch of little kids. We all knew all the characters and we didn't need everyone to announce that pocky was on the screen... I just don't know why people pay extra money to talk though a movie.
