No. Groups must pay at once. If they pay alone then they cannot join a group. More clearly, Groups must be paid in one single payment by the/a GL.

Bloo - I apologize, I didn't post my question clearly enough. Given my base assumption that I won't manage to get 10 members even if I wait until the last pre-reg cutoff (accurate as of two years ago, last year I went for the earliest cutoff I could), and am simply using the group for convenience in payment, my primary concern is saving my members money~ Since it seems the e-mail is sent before the database update for trying to join the group, my members' requests to join weren't going through, I was trying to work out if I'd be able to get them in the group, or if I should just have them go it alone and not risk hitting the $45 tier.

Now, as I've just found out that this'll be fixed tonight (prior to the $35 cutoff!) I'll delay closing the group and paying until I go to work tomorrow. ~.^

On a much more serious note: Riker, Bloo, I notice that while there's a comment in the FAQ that you do accept Pocky I do have a question not answered there. Any preferences on what type of Pocky?

I have a registration issue. I have already paid for my badge but I need to get a child's badge for my little brother, turns out I'm taking him instead of who was suppose to. I didn't try just buying a kids badge alone so this may be premature but I need to just buy 1 and have it mailed with mine, how can I do that?

I'm not exactly sure about this, but if Bloo or the other heads up get a hold of this question im sure they can give you the correct response! But I do think that if you were to register for the child and give your address and names for both you and your brother, they(Bloo or someone else) probably would be able to put them together. If not, you would have to register for your little brother and pay the shipping+fee. If that does happen no worries! You will get your badges! ^^

Please email ACenreg09@ACen.org we will have to fiddle with things to get them into a group with you for this. Since kids badges only show in the system when they are in a group with an adult (18 yrs old). When you email please explain the situation, and give both accounts user names.

ok here i go

so im new to acen and im really excited about going. ive already registered and stuff for a badge and it says all i have to do is pay for it. ive tried constantly with my mom credit cards to pay for it, but it always gave me the same message, that the card had invalid information or that the card itself was invalid. along those lines. i thought i was something to do with the credit cards so my mom called the companies. they said the cards should be fine and that nothing should be going wrong. then i thought it had something to do with my moms laptop, so i tried it on my desktop. the same thing happened. the message came up. i tried every week to put in the credit cards information and every time it sad the same thing. i even double, triple checked to mae sure all the information was correct. so i just want to know if theres anything wrong because im completely new to acen and i honestly have no idea what to do and im kind of worried that i wont get to go to acen . so help me out if you know whats going on. also, my badge has the delivery option. im guessing it will come after i pay. am i right? i know dumb question, but like i said im new and i just want to make sure. please and thank you.

In another forum under registration there is a topic about the current glitch we are experiencing with our system declining credit cards. Please watch that forum for updates, it should be fixed soon.

For badge mailing, we will begin mailing in January in waves in no specific order and end mid April. Those ordered before January 1st should be sent out by the end of that month.

i don't know if this has been addressed, I tried to pre reg for ACEN and it sent me to the registration login. I went to put in my username and password from last year since I registered through the site last year and it said my user name and password was invalid. Is this a glitch or do i have o reregister. I tried that and it said my username and ad password was taken. I used my current one. How can I get in to register for con?

As noted in the registeration FAQ here: Registeration FAQ.

You will have to log in to your reg account and on the left side under the Attendee section (note if there is a + sign click that to show the menus for that section) and you can then choose the badge info which will show the status of your badge on the line called Badge status.

Paid - Hold for pickup = You go to the will call line at con
Registered - Unpaid = you pay at con and get your badge there or pay online/mail before cut off.
Frozen = You've probably been emailed about a problem with your account
Banned = You need to email ACenReg09@ACen.org to work it out

If you paid and are not hold for mail but want your badge mailed please email ACenReg09@ACen.org requesting mailing and we will add it to your account so you can log on and pay the 1.50. You ALSO get a shiny pretty badge!

I have a quick question, i have pre registered almost when we were allowed to and it still says registered - unpaid, and i did check the mail feature, the question is i know you all got the check because i have the copy of the check itself. With the recent credit card bug it was also not letting us enter mail in forms. It was fixed yesterday so I will continue to enter in the mailed in forms. Those who mailed in should be marked as paid soon.

Ok, I have a problem. My friend registered around Sept. 30th for herself and her anime club/group for Acen 09, but for some reason it tells her she's getting Child Badges! She really wants to get this solved before the badges get mailed out, but no body is replying to her emails, is there any way this can get solved?

Yes, I remember last year you had to write the badge number on the bottom left corner of the check for the person. This year I made a group so it would be easier. I was wondering if I send in one single check for the group or a check for each individual person? and what do I include on the check more specifically on the bottom left corner( my group number of name, etc.)

You can send in one check please put the badge number of either the person whos bank account it is or if they are not in the group (parents account) then the group leaders badge number.
