For At-Con Registration, you will need to bring a Photo ID. If you do not have an account in the registration system from the past 2 years, you'll also need to grab one of the paper registration forms and fill that out before you get to the front of the payment line. so this is interesting on my badge conformation it says i paid 51 which is weird because i believe i paid 46 50 and on my friends it says he paid 36 50 this is also weird because we both paid the same amount. now both are status's are printed pending mailing so I'm sure there is nothing to worry about but I'm wondering if it was just a mistake in inputting info?

My friend has the same problem and I PERSONALLY sent the letter myself with his money order and a copy of the registration confirmation before the deadline. He opted to get his badge mailed and I finally got into his account and it says it is unpaid. I sent it a day before the deadline so it was postmarked before then, or there had to have been some sort of mix up.

In 2008, with the mixups with registration and stuff, my brother and I were able to get a discount for the next year, but we didn't realize this until after we sent in our payment. After contacting via email, we arranged it to get a free badge for our friend, and we thought that it was fixed and arranged from that point. However, we checked the other day, now that we are getting worried about him not getting his badge mailed, and it shows registered - unpaid for the status.

Now we're really worried, with the con now only a little over a week away, and no idea how he's going to be going to the con since he, along with both of us, thought this was taken care of. So now we have no idea what to do, especially since we don't want him waiting in line again after last year's fiasco (needless to say, he was more than slightly irritated with standing 10+ hours in line for his badge; not your fault, I know, but still, my brother and I wanted to make it up to him somehow by arranging the badge thing).

i think there needs to be something done about this situation. i know everyone doesnt have this unpaid problem, but one or two people is enough. i dont know what is happening with our money, i think we should get free passes or get put towards the badge reprinting line so we dont have to pay even more money than we already paid.

= ( I know with money orders, if you get it back, you can go back to where you got it and get your money back...such a hassle though. I hope this does get solved though!

I'm doubly bummed out now, I paid for a friend to come to this year, but because now of a sudden death in her immediate family this morning, she's not able to come to ACen 09. I thought I could get a refund for her ticket but because of the 'NO REFUNDS!!' policy in place, I feel like I'm being cheated out of money now by ACen.



All the same, I still feel bad for my friend but still...

So yeah, about registering with a group!

I'm confused about the part where I'd be in the main line. Groups under ten are going into the main pick up line and I want to make sure that the lines [which seem to be divided by alphabet or something from what I understand?] erm, whatever line I end up going into [my last name starts with a "P"] would have all of my groups badges with mine. Or, has something been changed to where the groups are ALL going into the group line, regardless of size of group?

yea, i paid for a badge myself and for SOME REASON they didnt get my money....now i gotta pay extra money AT-con to get a badge....i feel cheated too.

Hello all,

I had a quick question. My one friend didn't register soon enough so they paid alreay and are picking up their badge at pre reg. I know you have to have the confirmation sheet and stuff and a photo ID. But what type of ID they don't have a drivers licence and no passport. Would a school ID be ok enough and if not what could they do?

euh...sorry, i'm totally confused on this... so like i signed up for the waiting list or request thing for a flat in the artisit's alley a while ago but i never got an e-mail telling me that i actually got a spot and i never paid for it either but then now i recently got an e-mail telling me the info for like check in hours and stuff so do i actually have a spot or no...? >>

That sounds more like an AA question than a registration question as I don't think reg handles any of the alley badges.

Yes they will have full (all types) reg open on Thursday and they open at 4pm to 10 pm. Here is the hours from the main site http://www.acen.org/basics/hours.html

If we paid in the will-call period can we still pick our badge up on Thursday? And if so is it a different line from the other pre-reg? Sounds silly but I had someone flipping out on me about it and now I'm all confused...

Yes, you can pick up your will-call badge on Thursday in Hall D of the Convention Center. This post here has the info on how will-call works (yes will call will be separate from the at-con badge section) when you get there http://www.acen.org/...showtopic=29129

Ok, I'm dumb and I waited til the last minute to check this, but I registered myself and I friend waaaay back in October, but I never printed out of the confirmation stuff. (both of us are will-call) Unfortunately, I can't log back cause there's some sort of 404 error in to check the statues of our badges so I can't print any of the stuff and I'm a little nervous. I have the e-mail that confirms payment, but that doesn't appear to have the badge # on it, and I assume we need that part?
I would be so thankful if someone could help me?
