Love Hina was an okay series. It was a little bit obvious what was going to happen in the series. I'd give it a 6 out of a 10 scale.

Kitsune was actually a pretty cool character. I did start reading the novels and they were pretty good.

Though the second novel really wasn't much more than softcore porn. In the chapter where Motoko and Kitsune switched bodies, and the only cure was then sleeping together naked. Kitsune (having been accused of "other team" tendencies before) instantly starts feeling Motoko up, saying "Hey, it's my body, I can mess with it if I want." She backs off, of course, but I remember thinking, "I've read lemons that start this way..."

I like Love Hina, but I thought it was too long. Akamatsu spun the story out much longer than it needed to be (of course he did; he's making money!), and I couldn't tell who was more clueless: the girls or Keitaro. It got annoying. When Mutsumi is the one making the most sense, that's not good--though I don't think Mutsumi was nearly as dumb as she acted.

And Sara McDougal. She needed to die in the most painful, drawn-out, bloody fashion imaginable. As bad as the other girls got, they all had excuses--Kitsune's a drunk, Motoko's afraid of men, Kaolla's insane, Shinobu's a kid, and Naru is schizophrenic. Sara was just an evil little bitch whose throat Keitaro should have quietly cut.

My favorite character was probably Motoko but I found Mutsumi more bearable. Although she seems like a ditz in most of the the series, she was the only one true to herself.

I really couldn't stand Naru... she's always in denial. However, I agree that Sara McDougal needs to be killed in a slow and painful death. I was kinda happy when Motoko gave her a beating (though it was all Su's fault) in one of the episodes.

Love Hina was my first manga, so it brings about a nostalgic feel.

As said above though, the story was drawn out longer than it should have. I have to say though I like A.I. Love You a lot more, if I remember there was also a hentai that reminded me of the series.

Ken Akamatsu did A.I. Love You as well, didn't he? I'm not sure. Negima is very similar, at least superficially. Personally, I think Akamatsu's a one-trick pony--he recycles plots and characters--but Rumiko Takahashi is notorious for doing the same thing quite shamelessly. They're both very rich people, so I guess it works. (And Akamatsu seems to be a lot friendlier about it than Takahashi.)

There is a Love Hina hentai series floating around--done with lousy flash animation, and in the same vein as the Evangelion hentai. Poor stuff. Though I admit when I first watched Love Hina Again, I actually looked at the DVD case to see if it was hentai. I mean, you have Keitaro's useless half-sister (whose name I can't remember and have no desire to--she was the series' nuking of the fridge) feeling up Kitsune, stripping Shinobu, and practically raping Motoko. I thought, "Geez, did Ken Akamatsu just finally crack up?"

haha, thats kinda my thoughts on it too. Love Hina wasn't bad, but about halfway through the series you just feel bad for Keitaro...I was just getting sick of the same recycled joke with a slightly different setup every episode. Overall I'd say 5/10...very average.

I couldn't remeber if I seen this one or not, so I look it up and read the story summary and then I remebered I seen it. I would have to say it was an OK series, obviously not great because I forgot I had seen it.

I admit that everything Ken does is the same, which is why I stopped with Negima after book 8. I don't hate the guy, but I can't applaud him for being a genius. As for the hentai I was talking about. It was more about the stock nerd(I say nerd because I do not know if he is into computers or completely oblivious) who has a number of friends and that one girl who is just squirming to get in his pants, yet he refuses to notice it for god knows what reason. He is given a computer by said girl(her reason mainly to guilt him into liking her or some other hentai nonsense.) During a freak thunderstorm, the computer spits out a woman who is a human, though a robot (basically chii, only more curvy and with blond hair). Anyway, this is pretty much along the same lines as A.I. Love you, only in order for the computer girl to not break down, she...well in the words of Marvin Gaye, she needs some sexual healing. The only other thing I remember about it is that Apple is the good guys while unnamed computer company are the bad guys. This was made in the early '90s if I had to guess.

In the Manga I didn't think Kei-kun was that perverted but when I read the books I found out what he really was thinking, lol, I can say... he is, but poor Kei-kun didn't get a break, I would have lightened up a little with the hitting... actually i wouldn't hit him. The one id be hitting is Sara, MUHAHAHA, id Kick her butt! :P

Oh man, I have actually played that on Newgrounds, when I was really, really, REALLY bored (and didn't own Vice City yet). It's virtually impossible to get anywhere. You'll get your health up fairly high, and then Motoko or Naru will simply kill you. Dead. And then you get to start over.

John, that plot sounds like Video Girl Ai, but if it's a hentai, then it's probably a knockoff of it.

I like it a lot. I founded to be so repetitive at times but I guess that was part of the charm. And yes, it was cliched but still, a very enjoyable read.
