For ACen 2009 we're planning to do an Avatar the Last Airbender bender cosplay, even though it's technically not an anime. We have a definite Zuko and a definite Sokka, and we probably have a Suki. Does anyone want to join us?

I'm cosplaying as Fire Lady Mai (Fire lady version...like...since Zuko's firelord and whatnot). And I have a few friends who are cosplaying as Toph, Katara, Ty Lee, and Princess Yue. We might be able to join you guys xD.

I'd so go as Aang but I'm definitely not shaving my head. I watched from book 2 to the end for the past three days on tv and I liked it but i don't know who I'd go as. Good anime/cartoon.

I would love to cosplay as someone from avatar. Maybe the earth bender or air bender avatar since they were both girls. Id probably do it in the future though not for next year.

But id love to see pics of all your cosplays and see them there!

Wasn't the Avatar a boy? As far as I remember Aang is... unless you were talking about the theater version they put in the show lol then yeah, that can be so pulled off. Or if you're talking about some other airbender. I saw most of the series.

There were two avatars before Aang who were actually women.
This was before Aang was even born. You know how like if one avatar dies another one is reborn into a different bender and person completely.
And the earth avatar before him was a women and the air bender before him was also a women. I thought it was pretty cool.

I've thought about doing the cabbage salesman but I got to many other costumes to get done so Xiao you need to bring the cabbage saleman. they should all bring some real cabbages just to smash so we can get the "MY Cabbages!!" shot

I'm a veteran Ty Lee. I was at the photo shoots the past two years. Nice to see new faces. I have normal Ty Lee, Party Ty Lee and Beach Ty Lee~

Hello all! I'll be going as some version of season 3 Zuko this year. Whoever is in charge of the gathering should get a consensus bout the time & place we can meet up this year so we can get a good spot. I did it last year but it was a last minute spot grab kinda thing....

I'm surprised there aren't any Kataras on here yet. I'll be there as Season 2 Katara and as she's a main character, I expected to see several. Zinju, if you cosplayed June it would be fantastic. ^^ I'm really looking forward to the shoot, so I hope we can get it scheduled soon. We don't want to end up on Sunday, like it did at Ohayocon (that was fun driving home in costume).

My little brother may be coming as Aang--
3rd season with hair of course...
Which is fun because he's the voice of Aang in the Zutarian remake on dA, so we thought that would be fun to do.
