Ginza Festival who wants to go with me???

HI everyone i was out and about yesterday and found myself going into a little japanese shop and saw a flyer for a japanese festival called "The Ginza Festival"

its August 8-10th im considering taking the saturday of this fest off so that i can check it out anyone else want to go maybe get a bunch of us to go would be fun

they ask for a $4 donation its located at The Midwest Buddhist Temple
435 W. Menomonee Street
Chicago,IL

so yeah its not that far thats on sedgewick and menomonee if anyone wants to mapquest

fri:5:30pm-9pm
sat:11:30am-7pm
sun11:30am-6pm

so yeah let me know anyone want to accompany me to this shindig *since i missed the Arlignton heights Japanese fest a few weeks ago*

im requesting the 8th off thats friday to go to the fest since it starts @ 5:30p it should be nice im making my boyfriend go and his sister

yeah its in chicago i posted the address at top

Off duty Chicago cops provide security for this event so behave yourselves. If you cosplay leave the fake weapons at home. The chicken teriyaki there is the best ever.

I was there saturday until about . It was small but fun. Too bad I didn't know others were going there as well. :( I would have tried to come hang out with peoples.

i went on friday and it was small but it was enjoyable it was relaxing and didnt require alot of standing and walking and the entertainment was pretty good i especially enjoyed the traditional dancing that was pretty
