Also people in Chinatown are kinda prejudice to outsiders... just as a warning. Some places don't let more than 5-10 people in their store at once but I'm not sire if they change that now.

I don't normally make a ruckus, but this is an ACen meetup. We sometimes tend to attract attention even in street-clothes.

Also, I'm kinda used to the prejudice part since I'm transgender & in the past went out crossdressed. I no longer have the time, money, or a thin beard so I don't crossdress much anymore.

Cosplay or no cosplay, I really don't mind. Just wear something comfortable. This is really just a get together to socialize and mark our territory sorta speak. As for what to bring, some money for food would be ideal. If you are coming, please toss me a message with some info so I can give you a call at the meetup to make it easier for everyone to get together. Also I will give you my info in return.

I have had dim sum in chinatown several times. We will meet on the 19th at 11:00 o'clock at the ox year statue that is near the small strip mall in Chinatown.

And I will be going on the 20th for the Festival as well, meetup would same time same place.

Yeap hence I will be going back the next day just figured it would be nice that the big group meet up when it is not crowded but people interested to either day or both I will be more than willing to hang out with them.

I can't come Saturday because of my stupid job... but I practically live there so I'm not missing much.
I might be going to the fair Sunday after my friend's yacht party... I need to bargain and hassle down prices for crap I probably don't need.

hmm... so apparently there's a chinatown fest thing going on that weekend (from Thursday to Sunday supposedly)... It was gone for ages. Guess it came back. Not sure this is real but I'll check it out.

Help me, cuz I know I'm a retard. I'm going saturday, and I'm from rockford. Does anyone know how to get from rockford to chicago by train? Like I went to the elgin website, but I am SO confused...
