I have to go with the original old school goodness of the UC. The story line, the character and mecha development through the series were well paced. The pacing made the development seem natural no character really had a instantaneous changing moment. These series are aided by the fact that it was one of the first "realistic" giant robo series. The ending of MSG 0080 ranks as one of my favorite endings.

I admit to loving G Gundam, and as a Mexican, well, Mexico's fight was the funniest I have ever seen.
Though...Gundam Epyon is my favorite by far.

I'm really surprised by the results so far. After Colony and Cosmic Era as of late have been running all over all the other ones UC usually comes in 3rd or 4th. I guess the fandom has died down about those 2.

CC is kind of a trick answer though. It contains all of the universes minus CE and AD technically.
Regardless, I’m going to have to go with UC. It is just the most developed of all. Even though Turn A and X are two of my favorite series, the universes they are in are under developed.
I also don’t count AD. I won’t compare 00 to the other series until it is finished.

My tongue moved, a swung relaxing hinge.
I said to her, 'What will become of us?'
And as forgotten water in a well might shake
At an explosion under morning
Or a crack run up a gable,
She began to speak.
'I think our very form is bound to change.
Dogs in siege. Saurian relapses. Pismires."
