I have a wooden katana that is 40 inches long.
It is under the four foot mark, but I want to know if it would be allowed?
I went through the rules, but nothing that I saw really said anything about it.

I'm not saying there was nothing wrong.
I just didn't think you'd ever get tired of me...

If it is made of wood, and it is less than 4', it would be okay. Just make sure you get it tagged at the con so it's obvious at a glance that it passed (bring it to one of the information / customer service desks) and don't do dangerous things like swinging it around and hitting people ^_~ (though I'm sure you weren't planning on doing the latter, of course!)

Make sure that you have your katana checked & tagged and you will not have any problems.
