Yeah...i have this ability that whereever I go, fun things seem to move at my pace in the same direction. So i never actually come across them.

I'm not sure that stuff will be allowed inside.

I personally have a problem with your taped glowstick idea for example. There's too much danger of them just coming loosing and flying off hitting someone nearby or elsewhere. Or even our equipment depending on where you are.

IMO the best chances for alot of ppl are Friday night since I'm sure alot of other events will be running Saturday night (I think cosplay contest is on Saturday night too)
I was in the parking lot from the false fire alarm in '12.
I overcame the ACen rapture in '11.
I survived the ACen fire in '10.
I dodged the H1N1 outbreak in '09.
I was denied ice cream at the ACen 10th Anniversary ice cream social in '07.

I'm down for party.

As for the nunchucks and stuff, every year I've been to ACEN soap bubble, people had these things. I've had IRT give me an ok with these things before...unless they change the rules.

WHen i used the glo sticks and nunchuck, i used duct tape. I've swung it in full force (all my weight) 20 times each side and it holds 100% of the time.

The rules haven't changed. However, just don't be surprised if I walk up and inspect things like that myself.
