No deadline, just anytime before the con. The only problem is once the teams are full they're full, but right now we still have a lot of openings, so you should be fine if you have to send it in a little later. Sending it as early as possible is helpful though. Don't forget, you can still sign up even if you don't have a full team. If you have six or seven people then it's probable that we wont place extra members on your team, if you were worried about that.

I'm thinking of joining, but I know my good camera can't do video & my camera that can do video is crap (maybe 1.3 megapixels plus all pic so far have been blurry)

I'll have to see how many people I can gather.

I'm not sure when that will be, right now we don't have the full amount of teams needed signed up, and until then we don't know where exactly we're going to place individual entrants. I will let you know at least one week before the convention, but I will try and let you know as soon as I can once the teams get finalized.

If you are signing up individually, then you don't really need a camera, as all the other contestants on your team will likely have one. Otherwise, find a friend who has one and force them to join

Not gonna sign up this year though, all that running around for nothing isn't really all that fun.

Well, we are supposed to have more prizes this year (I'm still waiting to hear back about what we can get, but something in the way of anime-related merchandise is possible), so if you did it again you would stand more of a chance of getting something. The event is also alot better and more organized this year. ^^
But, even if you don't sign up again you should still come to watch it on Sunday and see the videos of the teams that do do it!

I have a roommate that's interested in participating and we both have cameras that can take video and use a USB to get the stuff onto the computer. Were just waiting for the final word from the others in our room. However that only makes five total, maybe six. So if we sign up we'll have more room and I swear we're friendly!

Alright, sounds good. We haven't had very many people sign up individually so far though, so don't be too disappointed if you end up with out any extra team members. I'm holding out hope that more people will sign up though and they just haven't gotten around to sending in their registration so, we'll see.



And just so everyone knows, if you haven't heard back from me at this point then it means I did not receive an email from you. If you signed up but haven't heard back then please try emailing me again. We currently have room for four more teams, and we also need individual entrants or pairs to fill up some of our current groups that still have openings. Once the teams are full we will allow people to sign up on a waiting list in the event that a team drops out or doesn't show up.

They can still sign up if they want to participate. There is nothing forcing you to go to ACen next year if you win the free badges. This event is all about fun, the prize is just to give you an incentive.

Hey, I finally found out about this. Sorry for the incredibly long wait, but I believe that the computer does have a FireWire port. Here is the computer we have if you want to double check for yourself http://www.dell.com/content/products/produ...s=bsd&cs=04

We are still asking that people bring USB cables if possible, as the firewire port has never been used, and we can't guarantee that it will work. But if that is all you have then you might as well bring it and give it a try.
