Why is it that I played pokemon before but I can't remember what types are weak against what?

i have a more hard time trying to figer out that stuff for steel. but in black i had my first playthough with a bug, ghost and dark. steel pokemon never cut it for me, their tanks but i never felt their do good damage at anything, rock pokemon seem stornger for me.

I still feel like a fool. I'm using grass/water combinations and I had to literally use two pokemon for the third gym trainer because I couldn't remember what type goes for what. I try to lvl up six teams (with one element each since there are like 300+ pokemon now?) but it's confusing. So Psy attacks are canceled out by dark? You need dark attacks for psy? How many pokemon have healing attacks?! Really cheap healing attacks!

For the first time I'm going to use gamefaqs for pokemon ._.

i studied the pokemon strat guide back in the day and do know most combos, the hardest for me is dealing with 2 types, that eletric flying pokemon in BW was hell to fight.

I'm primarily rocking it on the 3DS lately with Kid Icarus Uprising/Kid Icarus 3d Classic. Both fun games. Maybe after ACen and other stuff wind down, I'll continue with Zelda Skyward Sword (something tells me I already said this a page or two ago!) I think part of it is the Wii remote and other is me just being a procrastinator of the Internet. Lol

Played the Diablo 3 beta tonight. Wasn't as complex as 2 so far and I like how you can apply gems and runes to your skills to tailor your play-style more. Plus I'll have people to actually play with this time.

I played FFX-2, yes. It was pretty awful, aside from the battle system. While the game was overflowing with girl power themes and INDEPENDENT WOMEN WHO DON'T NEED NO MAN (despite the entirety of Yuna's motivation to resurrect Tidus), the clothing was an undermining contradiction to whatever messages they were trying to convey. Also, you literally can't tell me this doesn't look like a streetwalker in her usual attire when she hits up the street corners...

Doesn't matter if Shalua in personality wasn't slutty, we're talking about how the characters dress. Meanwhile, Tifa with her miniskirt and lack of a bra (or maybe it just broke and she never noticed) does present quite the visage of streetwalking. As it was mentioned, at least they fixed that later on. (It was honestly the only costume from Advent Children aside from Cloud's that didn't make me gag) As for booty shorts... Hey, if Yuna really wants to fight a malboro and all 1,000 of its tentacles while wearing that, then I think she has a few more problems than her wardrobe. Despite all of this, maybe it's a good thing they wear so little since according to Japanese RPG law, the less clothing a female character wears, the higher her defense stat.

Also, videogames.

I hate to say this but i agree with viver, i never said square charaters acted like free love from multiple people, far from it, i said they dress like free love from multiple people. you can have abasent and you can still dress like that.

also on another point add in dressing up in that kind of clothing and going to a snowy mountain or a damp cold ruins.

You'd think all the antibiotics they have to chug to keep from getting pneumonia on those mountains would give them at least a hint of indigestion, and yet Final Fantasy 8 is the only game in the series with bathrooms. I just don't know how they do it.

FF7 had bathrooms and REALLY awkward stuff but none of the characters used them.

But the only RPG I know that you can use said bathrooms is the Persona series. Tales of, Wild Arms, FF, etc. you didn't really go to the loo. Also remember the pee pee dance in FF7?

How do people in RPGs, especially FF7/FF8 not freeze to death in the cold conditions? Even in Pokemon B and W had me rubbing my head since the girl literally had on a t-shirt and booty shorts.

I agree that the clothing is risque but focusing on that alone doesnt make FFX-2 a terrible game nor does it take away from the story of it. It would be distracting if boobs were jiggling and there were awkward panty shots or scenes of the three girls . the only awkward and yet not really all that bad part was the wierd moaning that ccame from leblanc in the message mini game. and I don't deny that Square has some character outfits that are risque indeed but this isnt the worst thing in the world. There are other games where the females wear even less than that here. Maybe it's just because I'm a girl here but I really dissagree with the clothing taking away from the game as I've stated already . and I completely disagree with FFX-2 being a horrible game.
I personally think X-2 was a tad more enjoyable than XIII and yes they have fixed the female character designs however .....>_> looks over at Serah in XIII-2. I'm just sayin now.

Don't feel bad; playing Nocturne recently last year and that came out like......2003-2007 or so. Also was playing the Tokimeki games and those are just as old. (But that's due to translation.)

@Viver: To be honest the only FF games I enjoyed were: FF7, FF6, FF5, FF4, FF1, FFT, and FF9. The rest were either 50/50 or the storyline was too cliched/bland for me.

BUT THIS ISN'T A FF TOPIC!

I'm at Battle Subway and I lost at the first battle -.-; Yeah I suck. Also going through a guide for Pokemon White to see that I missed.....five pokemon already so yeah.

Of course they did. I'll agree with you on Crisis Core having a more profound and deep story than X-2. I have not played 4 or 6 so i cannot make a judgement on that. and yes the story of XIII was deep but the execution of it to me was rather... "meh"

I mainly didn't like how FFX-2 ruined the farplane. It was supposed to be a heavenly spiritual realm, and in FFX-2 they decided to make it a series of ruins deep underground. Also, "vegnagun." Bluh. (in its defense, fighting the pieces of Vegnagun then Shuyin himself was a far more satisfying series of battles than that crap at the end of FFX, but.. "vegnagun"...)

Just finished a speed run of Skyward Sword (Crazy I know, I did it for a friend who needed references for their costume I didn't get any heart pieces or upgrade anything). I've been playing Kirby Mass Attack and Pokemon Rumble Blast on the 3DS since I don't have too much time outside of my costume and they are easy pick up and drop games. After ACEN, I'll be playing Xenoblade which is taunting me everyday since it came in from Nintendo and Kid Icarus...
