Yes, yes, I know that she's dead and that I shouldn't be hating on her. But honestly, that is just simply the WORST song and music video I've ever had the misfortune to hear and watch. I actually felt dumber and numb with disgust after listening to it.

I've never experience such dislike for a song. I'm really easy-going when it comes to songs. I mean, I've sat there and listened to Avril's "Girlfriend" or some crap rap about having sex with women and whores once or twice too, and said "Alright, not my cup of tea, but alright." But never have I listened to a song that I could so strongly disagree with.

The only good thing about it was that the tune was cool and catchy, but as far as lyrics and the music video goes...I want to erase them from existence.

I wish rap artists would actually, like, write a real tune for once instead of taking my favorite songs, cutting them up, and remixing them so badly!! It's capitalizing off of what was really awesome and adding your own stupid lyrics. One of my favorite rap songs (well, I like Weird Al's better but he had a good source) was "Gansta's Paradise" and then I learned that they ripped off another song for that! ;_; Granted, there are plenty of rap artists who work hard for their craft but it seems like all the popular songs are just remixed crap.

OH FOR PETE'S SAKES. The only reason people like it is because they find it amusing to make Barney, Simba, Spongebob, or other random fictitious characters mouth it. I haven't got a clue why it's still so popular. The entire song can pretty much be summed up with "Yay, lookit me dance! Lookit me dance! LOOKIT ME! Oh yeah, and apparently Super Man is a verb now!"
