My vote goes to Calabria sung by Natajsa Saad -_-

Yes, yes, I know that she's dead and that I shouldn't be hating on her. But honestly, that is just simply the WORST song and music video I've ever had the misfortune to hear and watch. I actually felt dumber and numb with disgust after listening to it.

I've never experience such dislike for a song. I'm really easy-going when it comes to songs. I mean, I've sat there and listened to Avril's "Girlfriend" or some crap rap about having sex with women and whores once or twice too, and said "Alright, not my cup of tea, but alright." But never have I listened to a song that I could so strongly disagree with.

The only good thing about it was that the tune was cool and catchy, but as far as lyrics and the music video goes...I want to erase them from existence.

*sigh*

Anyone else have songs that just ABSOLUTELY hate?

Not indivdual songs, but indivdual artists:

Eminem
Any gangsta rap, period (rap, as far as I'm concerned, died somewhere around 1995)
Four Non-Blondes
Red Hot Chili Peppers (they sing the SAME DAMN SONG and give it a different title)
Rage Against the Machine (band who think they're anarchists when all they are is stupid)
Pretty much anything by Britney "What am I doing to myself this week" Spears. How the mighty have fallen, O Babylon...
Celine Dion (who I liked until Titanic came out)

There's a lot. But I'm not going to go after one genre. I like all genres, all ages, all types. I'll go after the bad ones xD

Er...I really hate a lot of songs that are out these days ;0
But one awful song with an awful video that I don't know how it ever made it to the channels...

The worst songs aren't the ones that are painfully bad because they are bad... it's the ones that are painfully bad despite being made by great musicians.

The Beatles- Revolution #9
Don Henley (okay, so he's only so-so)- Dirty Laundry
The Ramones-Ramona
The Dead Kennedys- MTV Get Off The Air (I love and hate the song... Frankly, it's annoying.... But I have a smile on my face whenever i hear it)
The Clash- Know Your Rights (My favorite Band, too)
Jesus died for our sins. And we repay him by Gaybashing, woman hating, and doing everything we can to hold back scientific progress.

Dirty Laundry? Art thou serious? That's a great song! Given that the lyrics address sensationalist news stories, poor acting, and TV gossip, I'd think you'd like that song, Lee.

Besides, I used it for Nabiki Tendo last year in my room party.

I wish rap artists would actually, like, write a real tune for once instead of taking my favorite songs, cutting them up, and remixing them so badly!! It's capitalizing off of what was really awesome and adding your own stupid lyrics. One of my favorite rap songs (well, I like Weird Al's better but he had a good source) was "Gansta's Paradise" and then I learned that they ripped off another song for that! ;_; Granted, there are plenty of rap artists who work hard for their craft but it seems like all the popular songs are just remixed crap.

WTFFFFFFFFF
Same here
I loathe rap these days
It's incredibley hard to find a song that has substance, and unfortunatly it's dumbing down the people that listen to it.
I remember in the old days when rap first came out and I loved it, they always had substance of SOME kind and the beat was awesome
Now it's like kids just bang on the nearest trash can and call it a beat

OH FOR PETE'S SAKES. The only reason people like it is because they find it amusing to make Barney, Simba, Spongebob, or other random fictitious characters mouth it. I haven't got a clue why it's still so popular. The entire song can pretty much be summed up with "Yay, lookit me dance! Lookit me dance! LOOKIT ME! Oh yeah, and apparently Super Man is a verb now!" <_<

rap songs now a days are just screwing hysterical. i think they should win.
otherwise "youre on my heart just like a tattoo" is up there because it annoys the piss out of me.
but one i just don't get is... oneo f the emoish bands now a days that i think its called something with sins and tragedies... i think its i write sins not tragedies.. hold on... yes... yes it is. i just looked it up. apparently its panic at the disco. That's not my point. This is:
Oh, well imagine, as I'm pacing the pews in a church corridor,
and I can't help but to hear, no I can't help but to hear an exchanging of words:
"What a beautiful wedding! What a beautiful wedding!" says a bridesmaid to a waiter.
"And yes, but what a shame, what a shame, the poor groom's bride is a whore."

why is there a waiter in the church?

@sentinel: DDDDX RHCP = my favorite band.

As for my opinion of worst songs:

- almost anything by Bob Dylan. ><
- anything by Tommy James, particularly "Crimson and Clover"
- rap in general
- Dani California (Yes, I love RHCP, but they can do better)
- Wake Up - Coheed and Cambria
- New Friend Request - Gym Class Heroes
South Korea likes breasts.
Ukraine has breasts.
She has them in spades.
If South Korea and Ukraine were to hook up...
Then South Korea would never have a shortage of breasts ever again.
