I Just lost 100 lbs! I'm officially 225! That's 100 lbs less then I was in July, when I started trying to lose weight!

Good job man! Hearing things like that inspires me to push myself even harder! What did you do to lose it so fast?

And keep up the good work, can't stop now. :D

Don't push yourself hard... It's unhealthy....

All I did was cut soda out of my diet, exercise half an hour a day, and try to stay within the doctor recommended 2,000 calories and follow the guidelines for healthy eating...

Ask anyone I hang out with on a regular basis, I still eat quite a bit when I head out... I just don't get soda... And being male helps a bit... We lose weight faster....

Ai No Kaku has been doing the same way and has lost quite a bit of weight as well. My little sister recently started and is down five pounds. Instead of "Dieting" I recommend listening to what they say in Health class....

Trust me I know about the not needing a diet. I eat whatever I feel like still and during my peak, I lost 60 in about 6 months.

Me not being able to drink soda is a big plus. lol

If I ate healthier, I'd probably lose more. But then again, I want muscle tone, so losing isn't my gain. I lost most of the bad fat already.

You have inspired me to give up soda friend. I need to lose weight not for vanity reason's (I weigh 185 at 6") but because in the air force you as a man have to maintain a 32 inch waist to get full points on that part of your pt test. WHich is bs. I have a 36 inch waist. While I saw the people who had a smaller waist dog the last 1/2 mile of our run I had to sprint just to pass. But I say no more to that buisness. Plus I need to put on more muscle.

*applauds* That's freaking awesome. I just started my training today to get (somewhat) in shape for soccer season. I hope can do even half of what you did. No soda sounds helpful, the only thing is, I can't drink water. When I do, I get extremely sick for some reason...But anyways, again, great job!

congrats, I recently gained like 20 pounds because my boss decided to bring a giant box of candy out to sea with us for halloween, and then left it in our workspace. I'm weak ;) though I'm not the only one... manged to lose about 5-10 of it just by throwing the box out a couple weeks ago.

now I just need to get off my butt and start working out again.

That's kewl, Lee.

I'm hopelessly addicted to soda, so that won't work for me. I find a nice three-mile walk every day (when I go to work) helps immensely, though I still could stand to lose about 10-20 pounds. I am by no means overweight, but I'm starting to get a spare tire I don't want.

Mountain dew, coffee, candy, I eat it all, but i dont gain any weight. All though I'm at 210 lbs. I could stand to loose about 30 or so pounds.
i'm back, for now anyway.

Bah, you're fine... 210 is pretty much healthy... Of course, that's for somebody of gargantuan height like myself.... But it's nothing to stress over....

Gah, the one thing I was not prepared for... My body gets thinner, but my skin is like "Dude, I'm not changing shape... I've been the skin of a fat guy forever, so I'm not changing." So more or less, now what I have to work on is getting rid of the flabbiness.... Which apparently will happen over time. But I'm impatient. I'm looking for good body toning exercises. Any suggestions?

The standard work out sets

3-4 sets of 8-12 repitions on whatever you want to tone.
There is NO better way to tone then that.

It helped tone me a bit. Not to mention you'll get stronger too.

Yeah, I forget about things like this..... But still, I have this philosophy: If you can still walk from your computer to your bathroom without getting out of breath, you are still in better shape than most IRT members.

While that is true, women are allowed more fat on their bodies before being called obese.

And what Lee vs Gaara said is true. It's sad...

Nah, not really. I just love to mock IRT. As far as an all volunteer security force goes, they could be worse.

But there was this one really out of shape guy who, well, this is really accurate for...

WHen I run people Don't think I try very hard because I don't sweat. I can run over three miles and have a slightly damp shirt if that. I beleive this to be unhealthy. Anyone else not sweat very much?

P.S i do run hard also. I am not dogging it.

That's becase fat collects in special places for women that would jsut be scary on a man xD
For a girl to have low body fat she'd be flat.

I was talking to an IRT member for a long time the Saturday of ACEN XD She said that IRT members end up losing weight at the actual con because of all the work they do xD
She was pretty thin herself, so i'm not sure how much it applied to her.
