Ok I just thought I do it out of fun. Since the spam isn't going anywhere anytime soon and I know some of you good people have done the job of reporting it to the mods, I thought for some of us we call ourselves the SPAM SQUAD! We'd report it to the mods like we usually do, post it on the "Never fear, Spam Control Is Here!" thread. But we'd put "spam squad" under our signature. This will be just for fun and to put fear in the spammers that we are watching you!

ACen 2012 Cosplay Plans!

Back by popular demand: Mystery Science Theater 3000! This time I will Have a friend go as Mike Nelson w/Tom Servo and Myself as Joel Robinson with Crow T. Robot (Crow's first ACen appearance)! Then on Saturday we switch roles!

That's because we love our forums. I have seen many a good web community just like this one get taken down by spambots because no one cared. This one's far too good to let go so easily.

As I sit here reading this thread, I feel sad and afraid. My nickname is "SPAM," I got this name because of my combined races. SPanish/AMerican native indian. I've had this name before the net was invented. While I do feel insulted that junk e-mail is named as such, I can't say much as Hormel has the copyright on the name itself.

P.S. Don't hunt me down for being spam.

I heard that Spam musubi (like a kind of sushi-onigiri thing) is pretty big in Hawaii, and then there's the traditional "Spurkey" served on Thanksgiving...
