So We had a BLAST technically this year at the meet up. It's still a few months away from the Chinese New Year. However, since I made the Otaku on Ice meetup so late, I wanted to get a jump on this one!

I need to get information on when the festival is, but my idea is go to the festival, then go downtown and etc, then storm ABC. that'll be a 2 month gap. XD

I'd like to see how many people have interest!


February 10th.
11AM: Chinatown meet at the statues. Go eat lunch
1AM: go to the parade
After parade: Snowball in the Statue area
After Snowball fight: Go downtown!!!!!!

I'd love to go, just get up date, time and place and such and I'll think about it. Hopefully by then I'll have more of a sense of direction. But my mom might take us, depending on where it is. Chicago, we get lost easily.

I'm gonna try and go. My parents are freaked because Chinatown is not so safe in their eyes, but I recently hooked up with a high school friend who happens to be into anime so I'm gonna try and talk him into going with me so I'm not taking the CTA there alone

I want a scooter too now...though I have been thinking about getting a small wagon and making it into a cosplay crash cart for meetups (kinda like a NASCAR pit crew's crash cart, that has everything they could possibly need....yeah I'm weird)

Well, February 7th in the CNY (but that's a Thursday), so I propose that weekend to hold the gathering. So it would be either the 9th or the 10th, whatever works for you people.

well, the thing is we want to make it on the same day as the festival, which I still need to figure out when it is. @_@ I'm working on it, and I'll get an update when I can.

What do we want to do besides snowball fight? We definetly have to get the yaoi paddle going. >.< We didn't have that the winter meet two weeks ago.
