this year we plan on being more organized and creating a great Floor-Sitting force to help defend our honor against the CouchCon and ChairCon

i chaperoned a trip to the museum of science and industry for the library i work at. Wow... that's awesome, that's one of my favorite places ever since I was a little kid. I used to come home from there and try to build flying contraptions (or dig up the nackyard XD). I haven't been there in a while, though... I should make a trip.

If you do that, I can't wait to see yours! I'm sticking with lightweight construction, and I'm too lazy to do any more work with electricity than I'm doing with my Dipp cosplay. My body has an affinity for electricity, so I try to work with it as little as I can in the colder weather.

At least you didn't blast yourself into a cement wall 25 feet behind you while working on a computer monitor that was still plugged in!!!! I made a dent in the concrete with my back!!!

Yow. Glad you survived that.

Well I've never been lifted off my feet, but I can hold quite a charge, and can take a lot of voltage before I realize I'm being electrocuted. When I was younger, I received a lot of electrotherapy (those little patch-things that they hook up to your muscles to make them flex), and I think that may have contributed to it.

It's a euphemism for sitting in a chair, most often with a group of people, at a con and doing, for all intents and purposes, nothing except perhaps maybe talking. Can also allude to the fact that you may not HAVE anything else to do (at the moment).
