well i'm getting notice out there early for all you car nuts out there who wanted to get your cars into acen this year. its time to start getting ready for next year you all have a little over 9 months to get your cars in order and looking nice. i will in the next few weeks or so posting the list of cars i would like to see in the show. i will also post up how many cars will be allowed in to the car show next year.

so get ready ladies and gents the winter is the best time to work on your cars. so lets see something new and exciting for next year.

This is the list of cars i would like to see at con. this year besides having strictly Japanese cars in the show i will allow a small amount of Domestics and certain cars done up with an ANIME theme. These cars will have to be show quality for me to even consider them. if you've done your car like any car from an anime serious such as Gun Smith Cats or Riding Bean those will take priority over others.

So if you have any of these cars or know someone who has a car like these and they like anime and wanna come to the con to show off there hard work. tell them to post up here and get in contact with me.

Cars will need to be in on the thursday before the con for set up and cleaning. i haven't determined the number of cars i'll be needing yet but as soon as i know i will post up on here. spots will fill up fairly fast i believe next year since i was told by several people this year that they wish they knew about the show cuz they would've like to put there cars on display.

Oh yeah if there are any nice motorcylces (crotch rockets, cruisers, choppers) out there i would like to have you guys in the show as well.

So lets start getting those cars and bikes ready for next year Ladies and Gents.

uhhh, where are they going to put all these cars that you want to see? I didn't see too many people stopping at the car show this past year though.

if you read the post more clearly i said these were suggested cars i would like to see. i was giving people a point of reference as to what kind of cars i want. as for you seeing people at the car show there were plenty of people there through out the weekend coming by checking out the cars and taking pics of them as well.

as for your 90 regal unless its something special i highly doubt you'll see one there, plus its a 90 regal its kind of a plan old box from the 80's/90's nothing special about it all.

well there are tons of other 240sx's out there that are in really good condition that he can buy. so instead of workin on one that needs way to much work he can always go out and get another one that doesnt need as much work.

I have a Galant, but it's not a VR-4, but hopefully by the time 08 rolls around I can afford a turbocharger, so it would almost be a VR-4, lol subtract the AWD. I don't know, otherwise I think I'm gonna build a Civic, with a H22 swap. I don't know, but my friends might have some cars that you may be interested in, we don't really have anything too special due to the financial issues (we're all like college students, so yeah), but there's some pix of what I could get probably.

well you have a good start goin. keep me posted as to the process of your build up. just to let you know if you or your friends are chosen to be in the car show it will be for the whole weekend and the cars will be on display from thursday till sunday.

i did say i would be selecting a small amount of domestic cars for the convention, but they need to meet certain critirea for them to be considered for the show. First was any car made to look exactly like a car from an anime serious such as GUN SMITH CATS or RIDING BEAN. second would be a car that had some sort of anime theme on the car (graphics or paint).

your car does have an "asian" theme to it, but not really an anime theme. so for now i would have to say no, but your heading in the right direction. you've got a little over 9 months to get your car ready so if your still interested and wanna change up your car do so if not thanks for the submission.

We should have a lot more MK4's this year and hopefully a couple of other high end Japanese cars as well i'm currently workin on getting a couple of Skylines for the show and maybe a couple of more NSX's.

currently yes once oct hits the car is going away and i will be driving the Hachi i just bought and all of the stuff i've been buying will go on the car this winter i will be done just before con rolls around.

i won't have the hachi till beginning of nov so you'll have to wait till then to see it. next summer i will be doing work to the hachi and hopefully have it ready for con in 2009 along with another car i'm planning to by spring of next year hehehhehee.

whats up all i will be posting a new set of cars that will be in the show for next year. i've gotten some pretty good replies so far, but mostly from people from the car community here in chicago that happen to be anime fans as well, but i would like to see more anime fans who have nice cars as well i know you are out there so start posting up would you.

also for next year i think i we will be having the Drifting panel at the car show how does that sound to everyone. cuz i know the drift panel is usually pretty popular and now we can give the people actual examples of drift cars and they can see them up close and personal instead of just on video.
