Are you listening to right now?

A song on my computer: Al Hirt- Green Hornet

Whattabout everyone else? It doesn't have to be a song if you're not listening to music.

My, how random... but I like random! I'm listening to FLCL, it's on Adult Swim right now, but I'm not really watching it cuz I'm futzing with my computer.
If only you hadn't been so naked this year, you wouldn't have flunked.

I'm listening to the Israelites. They were a ska band before the big ska revival in the mid 90s. They have a more traditional Jamaican sound. Much less guitar distortion than the ska/punk/hardcore bands that emerged around 95-97. Good stuff.

While we're on the subject of ska, I just got back from the 5 Iron Frenzy show tonight. Good show, but very sad. This is their last tour. The band is breaking up afterwards. Makes me cry.

I still remember back in summer of 1996 when I first heard "A Flowery Song" on the radio, I've been into ska and reggae ever since. Good times. Farewell, Five Iron Frenzy, you will be missed.

Ska-lovin' Robilbo

I went to the Five Iron Frenzy show 10-2-03 at Nashville. I LOVE FIF! They introduced me to Christianity. Ska rox out, Reel Big Fish, FIF, Goldfinger, old No Doubt, all awesome.
Right now I am listening to Rise Above by Black Flag. I also LOVE punk rock.

Awesome, Dave. Very cool.

Yeah, the sad truth is that Five Iron Frenzy only has a few shows left before they disband.

November 18 Des Moines, Iowa
November 19 Lincoln, Nebraska
November 21 Boulder, Colorado
November 22 Denver, Colorado

Some of the members are gonna stay together and work on very projects (Brave Saint Saturn and a few other things?).

5 Iron is my favorite ska band, one of my favorite bands in general. Yesterday was the 3rd time I've seen them in concert. I also saw them July 4th at Cornerstone 2003 and on October 18, 1997 (Ultimate Ska/Punk Show II).

Good times. Everyone should check out 5 Iron. Very cool and crazy fun band.

I'm listening to the hum of several CPU fans running, keyboards clicking, and a low murmer of voices as they talk on the phones around me...

Sounds like Chronic Cubicle Syndrome. Symptoms include irritability, sudden bouts of shouting, denial, and delusions. You should invest in some Shockpants.
