Ok i just heard about a series called .hack i have also heard about different anime series and i think they are all related. But my question is what ones is first

.hack//Roots
.hack//SIGN
.hack//G.U.

Ok I know at least one is a game but I don't know what one and are they all related i mean like the story or something? If they are related what series is first to last?

Please help i am soo confused i know .hack//signs looks intresting but i don't want to start in the middle of a series that could end up to be great and maybe spoil the end.

an incredible marketing ploy for a story that will probably not be worth it.

wikipedia's got a decent amount of dothack info too... and a fair amount of spoilers, especially for SIGN and ROOTS

It's either roots and then gu, or gu then roots. I think they coincide.

each different series can stand alone, but it's more satisfying to know the stories behind the stories. I would definately watch .hack//sign before anything though. It's good. The music is fantabulous and I'm a fan of the games too.

Maybe not so much with the others, but I think //SIGN is defiantly worth it.
