This is just a minor suggestion and not really a grip but I've already hit most threads where I could put in my own thoughts and wanted to get this down before I forgot again.

Could ACEN be later in May next year? I know of several friends that could not go due to college finals that professors would not shuffle for them, even with requests to do so weeks in advance. I also know of several others that weren't even on finals week yet, or were in the processing of moving out of their dorm/apartment for the summer. I overheard others with the same complaint, wondering if such a change could be made or not so I'd like to think I'm not alone on this.

We try to work with everyone, but there are only so many time that the Hotel and Convention center can give us.

Next years dates are already out- May 16-18 2008.

That's why I put that it was only a minor suggestion. I know that you have to work with too many people to count and that you can't please all of them.

As for next year's dates, damn that was fast.

It's always a fine line on scheduling .. for the longest time it was said acen was the same weekend of akon - first weekend in June.

It's still pretty rapid fire for those of us that hit the big cons .. acen in May, Anime North in May , A-kon in June, AX is July, Otakon in late July.
