He registered in March.
what should he do if he doesn't get a confirmation email in time?
what should he bring with him so he doesn't have to get a new badge?

All I can say is, if you have PROOF that you paid, that your check was cashed - a copy of the cancelled check - bring that. You need it to show them that you did pay, you should be registered, and they should do something to take care of it so you don't have to pay again. That's as much confirmation as you have on your end, the rest is up to them to fix. Be prepared to have to insist that you be directed to someone in registration who can take care of the problem, not just some volunteer at the end of the pre-reg line.

I have the Credit Card statment saying that I registered with 2 others and they have thier badges. none for me. no confirmation email for payment or registration either.
registered around the 12th of March online.

Please note the following information previously submitted to "email@example.com" on 5/3/07 & 5/9/07 and not one reply to either:
On January 23, 2007 I sent by USPS Certified Mail with Return Receipt Requested my ACEN Pre-registration Form along with a check to cover the costs of Tier 1 Membership, the 10th Anniversary Commemorative Badge, and the Pre-registation Badge Mailing. To date I have not received the following: My Certified Return Receipt, an email confirmation of my pre-registration status, and my 10th Anniversary Commemorative Badge. All I have to show for my efforts are the postmarked Certified Mail Receipt from the mailing, and confirmation from my bank that the check for $46.50 made out to Midwest Animation Promotion Society was processed on February 12, 2007. Please email me as soon as possible to let me know any info on the current status of my ACEN Pre-registration! Thank you for your prompt consideration in this matter.
PS: As of this email, I have not received any communication from ACEN on the status of my pre-registration. Please contact me right away with any info you have on my pre-registration status. Thank you again for your help in this matter!

However, I do plan on being availiable during registration hours for a good portion of the time pending no absolute disasters in my department.
If you are still having issues and spoke to me, then please do not hesitate to say who you were speaking to. My real life name is Lynn Hunt. Just ask and I will do everything to the best of my ability to help you guys out through this mess. If I am not in reg and you spoke with me, tell them to get on radio since I will almost certainly be on one or at the very least it will get throguh to panel programming operations which if I am radio dead would know where I am.

Check: Not cashed
My mother sent in the check on April 18 for $100. As of right now it still hasn't been cashed yet. Our group status says it is complete but our individual status says submitted. In addition I haven't received a confirmation e-mail yet. I only have a copy of that one confirmation form and a copy of the check. Is that enough proof? If possible I would like a confirmation e-mail either to Rhui@purdue.edu or Azn_Otaku18@yahoo.com. Thank you for your time. I appreciate it.

A few friends of mine said there was a way to find out your confirmation number, or somewhere to go where an admin could give it to you, is this true?

I'd like to say this issue makes me worry so much. It also makes me worry about the con itself if registration is this chaotic.
