HIYa to all! This will be my first year going to Acen. I haven't really been introduced into the anime world until about a year ago (except pokemon--I grew up with pokemon), and I simply love it. I have a ton of friends who are really into anime and manga, and gradually my interests for the whole thing grew. Now, i adore manga. I do nothing but read books, and now nothing but manga!

I'm super excited about going to Acen. A little nervous, but still excited. I'm not going alone, about 5 of us are going--3 newbies, including myself, so it's going to be a ton of fun.

Yeah, first time and I'm doing cosplay. . . for all three days. One day as a pickachu, the next as a member of team rocket (the ones with the black suits) and the third. . . . as a schoolgirl or something. And, I don't have all my costumes done, and there's less than a month left. What a rush!

So, that's all I have to say: Yay Acen!

ACen 2012 Cosplay Plans!

Back by popular demand: Mystery Science Theater 3000! This time I will Have a friend go as Mike Nelson w/Tom Servo and Myself as Joel Robinson with Crow T. Robot (Crow's first ACen appearance)! Then on Saturday we switch roles!

This is going to be my first year as well! i hope you enjoy your time here on the forums. if i see a pikachu running around the con i'll have to catch it so we can get pictures taken together.
When you're in a town like this all covered with smoke, you forget that there's a world outside. Nothing amazing happens here. And you get used to that, used to a world where everything is ordinary. Every day we spend here is like a whole lifetime of dying slowly. But now Haruko is here. That's how I know there really is a world outside.
