Okay, I'm not sure if this has been asked somewhere before (and it's around 11:30 PM right now and I don't plan on looking), but if I mailed five or six forms in the same envelope (we tried to register online, but it wouldn't let us so we ended up sending them in) but the forms had different addresses would the badges go to the addresses on the forms or to the address on the original envelope? I'm guessing it's probably the addresses on the forms, but I just wanted to check.

Can't wait for Acen. It'll be mine (as well as my friends') first convention! w00t! We're only going down Saturday (we live less than an hour away. w00t!) but we're thinking of skipping school the 11th, just so we can make sure everything is perfect with costumes (they're simple but 13 year olds can't sew to save their lives) and that we've done enough chores to have a decent amount to spend on things.

So far, this whole badge mailing process has been really wretched. I mailed my payment on March 3, and my bank statement says that the check was cashed on April 2, however my registration status STILL says "SUBMITTED." But, I know that there are tons of people in the same boat - I don't think ANYONE has gotten their badge yet... have they???

In the event that I DON'T receive my badge, I'm taking 1) the carbon copy of my check, 2) my registration notifications, and 3) a copy of my bank statement - along with valid ID, of course. I have to say that I'd recommend that everyone do this, just in case. It's good to be prepared.

It's all just really upsetting!

As sad as this is .... I had a dream last night about getting my badge. I'm not even joking.

In the dream, I checked the mail and it was in there; of course, I freaked out, and ripped the envelope open. It was all blue, purple, silver, and shiny-like, and then I remember like ... coming on the forums and posting in the HUGEST letters, I GOT MY BADGE!!!

I don't know. It was the weirdest dream ever. I thought it was real too, which disappointed me. 4 more periods of school left, then I'll be walking home hoping it's in my mailbox.

Well, my mail doesn't get here until about 3:30-4:00. And it might depend on where you live who gets them first.

I know people have been saying "the staff have lives, etc. and that's why we don't know anything," and I do know that. I commiserate. But seriously, after 7 pages of anxious people, WTF?? Why has no one actually come on and given us a concrete answer: "The badges started going out on [DATE] by [SERVICE] and should hopefully be arriving [DATE]." I don't want to come off as rude at all, I know everyone is working overtime, but it takes thirty seconds to post something alleviating everyone's fears.

Please, please please: will someone official come into this thread and give us a full answer? When did the first badges go out?

I'm not sure if this is the right forum....I'm new to this....so please forgive me.

I registered back in March as my Group Leader. I sent the payment by the deadline for Tier 1 and the check was cashed. I received an email March 30 that said that my registration was complete. I haven't received the badges and when I checked my group registration and it said the STATUS GROUP HOLD.

What does that mean?????

I didn't get my badge today, but I'm more concerned on some other things. First, the form for payment said that the deadline was April 15, NOT April 14. I paid on the 15th, and have an e-mail that specifically states that my payment was received April 15th and that my badge will be mailed prior to the convention like I requested. I sent an official with my question, but I'm still worried. x__X

Also, is anyone else kind of put-off by the fact that, if they or the postal office screws up and we DON'T get our badges, we still have to pay $25 to replace it? I know it's to protect against fraud and stuff, but what about the HONEST people who really didn't get their badge? x__x Auugh.

And, quite ironically, I ALSO just had a dream. Like 20 minutes ago! I don't know WHERE the hell I was, but I went to a mailbox there and opened it and I got my badge!!! And they even gave me a commerative pillow, too!

Hold on a sec here. Let me get this straight. If I understand things right the first batch of badges were mailed out on the 19th, and the last batch on the 30th. Badges from the first batch should start arriving on the 30th, or 11 days later. I'm leaving in 8 days. So does that mean that I'll miss out on my badge if I was in one of the last few batches, or if mine gets delayed due to being international? And if that is the case I'll have to spend an EXTRA $25 for a new badge?

*sigh* my badge better get here on time.

If my status says hold for my group will my and their badges still be mailed? What if your badges were not sent? Shouldn't they make a list of the people that there badges were sent to them? Please hopefully some replies back soon. Hopefully we all get our badges this week.

personally I think thats a good idea, to make a list of which badges were in the first batch and then after and informing us what form of shipment they used.
