We just got the go ahead from our Guest Relations person that we can announce this one, which we've had to be quiet about for awhile.

For those of you not familiar by name, he is the author of the Trigun Manga and did conceptual art for Gungrave. I think a FEW of you guys might be familar with his work. ;)

So it's time for all the Vash costumers to find their forgotten red coats and yellow sunglasses.

A bio on the website will be going up soon. So yes we do have Japanese guests. I know a lot of people have been looking forward to this.

*claps* wow!! If this is the first to be announced(which I've heard good things about Yasuhiro Nightow), then I am very excited for the rest of the Japanese guests! <3

Cool! Trigun is one of my favorite series! I named my black iPod, kuroneko in its honor. :lol:

Getting a Kuroneko autographed would be cool too. Though the one I keep on the dash of my car is not quite as black as it once was.

Lol, I need to get one myself too. A drawing board that is. Because honestly, My friend and Ia re gonna be first in line to see him and I am just hoping he would be willing to draw a REAL quick doodle of Legato-sama for me.

Finally, another manga artist whose work I've read B) ! The Japanese guests in recent years were cool, too, but this makes it more special. I'm definitely looking forward to him signing one of my manga volumes, as well as getting the chance to ask him some questions during a Q & A *hurries to request the next Trigun Maximum volume ;) *.

My cousins are slightly jealous that I get to see this x3. He's not on my list of guests that I was praying for, etc, but I'm still glad to hear this. I'll probably just bring one of my two volumes of the first part of the manga if it's him I end up in line for. I have a Kuro Neko, too, though ^^. I'll bring one or the other, particularly if there aren't any other guests that excite me.

I am definitely spazzing out now that I read this since Trigun is one of my all-time favorite anime and manga series. You guys just made my day and now I'm looking forward to this convention even more than before.

(And believe me. There were plenty of Vash cosplayers last year. :P I don't think anybody lost their coat.)

When I saw the name, I almost fell out of the chair!!!

Looks like I might have to hunt down some of my Trigun stuff, though I might actually pull out my picture I did of one of the characters a few years back and have him sign it. That would be awsome!

Trigun happend to be one of the first anime I bought for myself and started my collection, so YAY!!

Definitely will please the fans of Trigun from over the years with this one. Nightow is a good pickup, but honestly would be nice to see some Japanese guests from newer shows. Trigun is now like almost 10 years old =\ Like a few years ago when you had around 4 Japanese staffers from ROD OVA/TV that was awesome as the show was just coming out :)

Actually, Though he did play a hug part in the anime, Nightow is the creator of the Manga Trigun Maximum, which is still coming out in Japan.

Well, considering that acen is also ten years old, Nightow would make a perfect addition! And people still love Trigun to this day :lol:

I know this is a little late but I thought I would share a story of the coolest autographing session ever concerning my friend and me who were L (me) and Light (friend) from Death Note.

Well we were both psyched that Nightow was there and just couldnt contain ourselves much longer. My friend as Light had Nightow sign his Death Note. Yeah he signed the Death Note. Now what makes this funny is that Nightow looks at the Death Note, looks at "Light", looks at me, back at the Death Note and then at "Light" and says in Engrish, "You want kirr me?". I about lost it there. My friend said, "No no, just sign it here" all the while trying to stifle some serious giggles. He signs it in Japanese and all the while he is signing it he is saying "Oh no you want kirr me". Best day ever. Period.

So my friend and me said to each other "Wouldnt it be great if Nightow put in his mini comic in the back of Trigun vol 12 something about the Death Note?" I think if he did that I would litterally crap myself. And if has done it you now know where he got the idea from.
