At the end of the year news networks like CNN have year in review specials, which highlight the memorable events in politics, business, science, entertainment, etc...

So what news story did you find most memorable or most shocking? Whether it was the Mark Foley scandal or the death of Steve Irwin, or maybe something that happened in your life that was memorable or shocking, I'd like to hear from you. Bring it!

Pretty much ACEN06. I got to meet everyone that would be such great friends. Jums, Scott, Ahmed, Roxy, Ota-G, Jayson, Astra, Kris, Card Captor Will, Kawaii Kitty. I made so many friends and took many pictures. Im glad that I got to meet them all this year!

Along those lines, I'll go with the Otaku Smexiness Summer Beach Bash, where I got to know excel excel and kawaii kitty (whom I met at ACen '06). Although, I'm glad that I also met Amunet at ACen; I just wish I got to see her more often.

I'd also have to go with the Otaku Smexiness Summer Beach Bash. I was shocked when my sister invited me to go with her. It was the best two days ever spent. I also enjoyed "Foxxy's Film Fun Friday" and the final meet up of 2006.


I look forward to going to animecentral in 2007. Thank you Excel, from the bottom of my :heart: for making 2006 most memorable for your big sis!

I enjoyed the final meetup of 2006!

I also found the food poisonings of late 2006 to be very interesting - first, spinach, next, the sushi poisoning in London, and finally, the Taco Bell food poisonings.

2006 sucked for me. I had to deal with medical problems, had to leave a place I had called home for seven years, and got screwed out of going to ACen '06 because of both. On the other hand, I have actually made huge leaps forward in my career as a history prof, which is pretty kewl, and was able to make some new friends in my new locale.

I'm glad to put 2006 behind me, though. 2007 is looking pretty good, and I will be at ACen '07 if I have to walk.
