I am going to be dressing up as Jin from Samurai Champloo and was wondering if their are going to be any others? Maybe a Moogan and a Fuu that i can hook up with for a photo op? Jins definately my fav cause i have the glasses and the long hair for it. ^.~

That and i'll also be doing a Muroku Cosplay from Inuyasha, got to love that letcherous monk!

I haven't made any final plans, but I could pull off a Fuu if you needed one :3 I'm still trying to come up with ideas and might just end up finding any groups that need missing characters XD;; So if you'd like, I can go as a Fuu if no others show up The outfit and hair isn't all that hard for me either.

Could definately use a Fuu to guard while running around Acen, getting into trouble and random shinanagans!

Should be alot of fun, now we just need to find a Moogan for your other guard.

I do, its nothing fancy though. I mean, it was put together in a week for Otakon '05, just something comfy to wear. It might not look like it was thrown together so quickly, but I know I could've done better. I also have her tanto.

Can I see pictures of it!? I'd love to rent it for ACen'07 if its not a bother (i'll pay a rental fee! lol) that way its one less thing I have to stress about making during school D: I have alot of other things that can be used as well :3 Even a pattern would be helpful for me, but if not its ok because I have a kimono and yukata I can use for a base. But I'm sure its beautifully done even if it was fast

Yeah, I can take a few pictures of it. I was planning to sell it actually, if you were interested. I was only looking for 20-30$ with the tanto. I think its about a medium size, might be a large, but I dont think so, I cant remember what size I used. Ill have to put it on my dressform and take some measurements. Ill PM you some pictures when I get a chance to take them, either later today or sometime tomorrow.

I love samurai champloo and all, but this was my 2nd choice. I was originally going to go as Gene Starwind from outlaw star, but, my melphina can't go now. And my little brother, who was going to do jim, wouldnt go unless my melphina went (shes is like our sister).

But I believe i fit the profile a little more for Mugen. I'm going to attempt, after I'm done making the costume, to learn some basic break-dancing stuff (I like to be accurate).

Wow that's so cool! I can't find anyone to go for the series I was planning so I deceided to find groups that needed people who were missing... I love Samurai Champloo too. I didn't think I would like it but I was instantly addicted. I've lived in Japan and I'm used to wearing kimonos since I volunteer at a traditional Japanese Tea House, so Fuu won't be too hard for me. Its always an added plus to be as close to the person your cosplaying :3

I was going to originally come as Jin because, like the OP, I have/had the long hair and glasses for it. Even the kimono. However, my Light/Kira cosplay is going to require a snip-snip of the hair, so my plans as Jin for this year have been botched. Unless I buy a wig or something.

I'm mainly cosplaying as Hanatarou from Bleach, but I also have a Jin costume. I'll look weird with short hair and no glasses but I might wear it anyway.

Problem... I won't be able to attend ACen this year ;_; My plans fell through and I'm stuck moving into my new house and working before my summer courses start up again. I'm so sorry! I'd love to buy the Fuu costume and tantou from you still! PM me and we can talk better about details if you want... I'll definetlly attend next year! *fist in air*
