It wasn't D1, that's Formula D... I was there for the last two, and I got to say that the last one felt like an Anime Con cause of the crowded.... I'm not 100% sure if they'll come back for the 2007 season....

If somebody could get a Mach 5 at ACEN, I would be forever in their debt. I know, it's impossible...but still. Comic-Con had one last year and I'm so mad that I missed it. Apparently they make them now though. Not sure how many people own it.

as far as i know those cars are fairly expensive. i believe close to $50,000.00 but i could be wrong. i've seen a few out in cali and and on the east coast florida i think. i highly doubt you'll see on at our little show.

ooh ya duh i knew , thats what happens when i post late at night, my brain doesnt think straight. it would be amazing, like one of the best things ever, someone pulled some strings and got a skyline, preferably a R 34 GTR, at this con.

From what I'm hearing.. it could be possible... Cause I only know one person (from what I resume) in the Illinois area that has a R34 Skyline.. But I'm not 100% sure if his coming to ACen, and even with that!....

i'm currently working on getting 2 R34's one is a GT-T the other is a GT-R. i'm not sure if they'll be there but i would love for them to be at the show.

Wow, Allen, I wish I had seen this thread before I sent all those emails. The FC looks like it will be there. I think it'll end up passing emissions. Depending on who all is coming, I can probably bring the Evo for kicks.

P.S. HimuraKiyone, those pics are great, I haven't seen those particular ones before.

yeah man set up this thread awhile ago to get a little interest goin in the car show. it'll good times man can't wait for you guys to get there so we can set up and start detailing the cars and making them all pretty.

ron you know what you need to get done to your car for it to be in the show namely take that silly non functional hood scoop off your car. then think about getting some rims and making your car look clean and nice and it will be all good.

Dude.. I'm for sure ripping out that hood scoop... The question I have in mind now is.... I need a new muffler, and I don't know which one I want.... And for rims... I was hoping for Ro_Ja's but ahhhh... It's over my budget, and not sure if they're any that will fit for my supra, is there any alternative? Or any ideas to make it look any better?

thats good to hear your gonna rip off the hood scoop. as for an exhaust for your car i think if your on a budget i recommend apexi N1 thats a good exhaust for your car actually there are tons of exhausts for your car for under $500 bucks. as for rims check out this website RBMOTORING.COM they got tons of used JDM rims really nice stuff for super cheap. i think you'll find something on there you might like thats were i'm getting my rims from.

just bring some records with you and show up and you'll get tossed in to the mix. the car show is basically gonna be like a very long tag set between all the DJ's. it gives guys a chance to spin a longer set then they would get if they were spinning at one of the parties.

What time you're going to let the cars into the Convention Center. And is there anything that needs to be done before you let cars into there.. Cause I remember seeing a rule for indoor car shows like Hot Import Nights that you need to have a quarter tank due to fire hazards...

that rule applies at the rosemont convention center as well cars need to have less then half a tank when indoors i believe and cars must have there batteries disconnected as well. i'm not quite sure what time i can have the cars there i'm hopin thursday nite or really early friday morning. as soon as i find out i'll post on here and let you know.

Dude, I just got my front bumper, side skirts, and spoiler for my Supra... Didn't have much time to fully check out the parts for any damage cause I'm doing something extremely important right now, and so on for the next two weeks... All I can say is... I want to put it on.... NOW!!... Just need some advice on how to install the sideskirts, and the spoiler....

well the first thing you need to do is take all the stuff to a body shop and have them paint and put it on. let the professionals figure out how to do it. also don't be "THAT GUY" who gets a body kit doesn't paint it and just slaps it on his car, that is just tacky as hell. trust me taking it to a body shop will be the best thing for you to do with that you don't want to have to futz around with the kit if it doesn't quite fit properly a shop at least knows what the hell there doing if a body kit doesn't quite go on right. they can fix and adjust things your can't do yourself. body kits on ebay are notorious for improper fitment hell body kits in general unless there from some major company are usually don't fit right and those kits usually cost like 5 or 6 grand. well hopefully your car turns out ok and is ready by con if it isn't ready there's always next year man.

I'm not sure if i posted this already but just to let everyone know at the car show this year we will have most if not all the DJ's spinning at the car show. that means you guys don't have to wait for Underground Groove or the Soap Bubble to hear your favorite DJ spin. So definitely come by and check out the car show in the dealers room its gonna be a good time.

we also hopefully have some Bboy's and Bgirls breakdancing at the car show as well.

oh yeah lets not forget the MODELS . cuz what would a car show be without models.

a little bit of info for those putting there cars in the car show set up time will be THURSDAY MAY 10 FROM 10AM TO ???. so please get there on time i'll contact all of you guys individually to confirm everything.

hmmmmmm... Is that the ONLY time that you'll let cars inside the convention center? or will you let the cars in Friday as well? Cause it'll suck butt if it's the only time to do it at... Did you talk to 86's John and Evo8's Kramer about this? Cause I hope they can make it on Thursday to put their cars in the show...
