"Hard Parkers"? Yeah right. GRAE86 is just mad his Hachi wasn't in the show. Probably came up to you guys spewing his 86 knowledge all over the place, expecting you to be impressed. The show cars were awesome guys, I loved the display! The Sileighty looked BAD@$$ painted that way...please tell me that's the intended paint job and not just primer? I think my overall favorite had to be the side-by-side Hachi and FC...and me without my camera!!! Good thing my friends got pictures

well i personally never talked to GRAE86 so i couldn't say if he was tryin to spout his knowledge of the hachi. we are definitely doing the show next year and were gonna be doing it bigger and better with a whole new group of cars for the show.

i liked how there was some german flavor in the car show. laguna seca blue ///M3
were these all supposed to be cars from Initial D? I'm not too familiar with the show as i've only seen a few eps.

What I didn't dig was while I was in between taking some pics of it(after I moved the chains for a moment) some guy just straight up, opened the door, moved my helmet, and got all the way in it, sitting in the drivers seat w/ both hands on the wheel. I ran up to my car and all I could muster was, "Excuse me!?"

You wonder what people are thinking sometimes...

To answer that question.... The Toyota AE86 Corolla "GT-S", Madza FC3S RX-7, Honda S2000, and that Nissan 240sx are the cars from the car show that are on Initial D...

But the cars that are on the show are also feature in other shows/movies...

saiyajinimport / Allen's Toyota Supra = Fast and the Furious, and 2Fast 2Furious, Wangan Midnight.... That's all I can remember
My ACen MK3 Toyota Supra = Shuto Kousoku Trial 3
That Subaru Impreza WRX?? = .......... There's a manga that's about it and it's rally races.... I know i saw it at Mitsuwa....

J.R.'s BMW M3 = ... BullRun

And as for the other cars... I can't recall what shows/animes they appeared in... if they ever appeared at all..

you are correct on all parts, but please try not to mention fast and the furious when discussing the vehicles i try not to think of that movie. its such a bad representation of anything that has to do with the import car scene.

Remember that talk that we had about the ACen Supra car during bag stuffing day???? I'm sort of "not ready to accept the WTF? did you do to your Supra" reactions from the Supra Guys from the Supra forums... That's one of the reasons why I didn't show up last night...

Anyways, I'm pretty sure that I'll bring it to Elmhurst Toyota's car show in August......

Whats up guys? cramer just tol me about the hard parker thing.
to gra86 realise that my 86 was near totaled (whole front end destroyed) by a friend who was driving the car friday exactly 1 week before acen. scott cramer and i replaced most of the front and repaired what we couldnt then repainted it all in 1 WEEK! Part of the bumper cover was painted there at the con hall at like 3 am friday morning. also i had to weld up a new lug key for my fc wheels cause i broke the original. The fc was painted 2 weeks before the con. I do ALL of my own work a shop has NEVER layed a hand on ANY of my cars.I stitch welded the entire unibody of the 86 I build my own suspensions do my alignments all paint and body etc. eventually ill have an online photobook of the buildup of the 86(as soon as cramer helps me out cause my interweb sux, dialup lol). Soooooooooooo yeah im a hard parker roflmao!
oh yeah and lets talk shop i do run one after all. I didnt see you until sun when we were leaving. Im fully convinced you didnt "talk shop" with us because we usually talk clear over your head.

to all else thanks for the words of praise on the 86 and fc my life was a living hell for the 2 weeks before the con,a few 90+ hour shifts will do crazy things to a person! All i can say is good friends are the best family you can get!

Im lookin forward to next year and maybe just maybe one of my super secret specials will show up;)
