I am extremely far behind on my Blue Spirit cosplay.

I think I'm back to having nothing done XDD I want to redo the mask I'm not liking how it came out.

Next week I think I'll start. Spring break FTW! I'll start the mask anyway. And I get my first pay check next week from working my new job! So I'll have money to go buy fabric and make the rest in the coming months!

I'm doing Katara's, Azula's, and my costumes all at once. Katara's is almost done.
(sorry I kept poking you Katara. I was in a rush. the faster I get things through the sewing machine, the quicker I'm happy that our costumes will be done by spring break.)
Azula's hasnt got started yet. I'll start this weekend. and mine is almost done. I'm just working on the arm darts and the jacket. So hopefully I'll have perfected 3 costumes. I think katara's has been the most fun though. Mine just drove me up the wall. The pants are impossible!
I have to say though, the clothes from avatar are great to make! Lotsa fun!

I have been trying to make plans to attend this gathering. Please count me in for now I live pretty darn close to the Rosemont Horizon, so it will be silly for me not to go. I don't think I can create a costume in time (unless I just go the easy route and shave my head).

Okay, we all know that the Masquerade may end up being scheduled sometime in the morning on Saturday.... not saying it's going to happen, but it would be better than Sunday... if the Masquerade happens to be scheduled at the time of our meet up, when would you guys like to meet up? It will still be Saturday, just a little later... ^^-

Well, as far as that thread had went, Jaz came and apologized, saying he just wanted opinions because it's possibility of a early Masquerade or a Sunday Masquerade, so just in case they do change that on us, I want us to be able to have our meet up!

We're pretty sure that Azula can only come one day, and that's saturday. Plus, she's only going to be there durring the day. So, as long as there's light out, and it's saturday, I'm pretty sure she can go. (speaking on her behalf.)

I on the other hand, have nothing to do other then spend money and run wild. so when ever. And I'm adopting board cosplayers who want to go with me for sushi! (random idea) (katara, you're going with!)

UPDATE- Our meet up will be at 10am on Saturday in front of Children's Programming. I know, pretty much for a fact, that the Masquerade will be some time in the afternoon. So our time is safe. ^^-

There is no set release date for season three. However, it will be airing (contrairy to rumor.)
~ruftoon from deviantart works on avatar (isn't that awesome?) and she updated everyone. So at least we know it's airing. But chances are, it won't start before Acen.

Ugh. Since I'm having a few problems with the friend who was supposed to make my Blue Spirit swords for me...I believe this costume is out of the question DX Sorry guys.

However. I decided to still go along with an Avatar cosplay, though. I'll be going as Jin Gives me the perfect excuse to glomp any and all Zuko cosplayers :3

AW, We'll hang with you anyway. tell us when you're going as Yue and I know some of us are going to be in cosplay the entire con. I know how much it stinks to miss a shoot, the least that we can do is make you feel welcome! (if you're going as yue I have to get pics.)

Jin's one of the better females from the series (I wouldn't mind more closure on her as a subject you know?)
You should still hang out with Katara and I and join the glomp Zuko group. (haha) (hopefully if my Zuko still goes he'll find us. 9_9;;; I havent contacted him for the past month.)
Yea, at this point it's costume cram time and there's just a massive buildup of stress. My sewing machiene just broke and I have yet to finish Azula's comstume. now she's flipping out. =_=;;;;;
i did however finish my Mai costume. (I'd be glad to help with final touchups on costumes friday morning and a little in the afternoon if people need help.)

Sorry - I couldn't find this thread to check on replies till I went to cosplay.com! My group is cosplaying on Friday afternoon. In addition to our two Kataras and our Kyoshi, I've talked a friend into being Foaming at the Mouth Guy!

No worries about my not making it to the shoot on Saturday morning - it's my fault for being a lazy bum, haha!
