My Longshot cosplay is almost done! I'd say around 80% complete. I'll definitely be ready this year!

*Everyone, The spot where the gathering was held last year is the garden area (+ fountain too). The Power Rangers/Super Sentai group claimed it already.

The Tree Patch is somewhere on the right of the hotel's front doors.


It seems like a lot of the outside spots have been taken:

12 pm -
Air Gear - Outside east wall
Bleach pt. 2 - Loading docks
Classic Nintendo/Smash Bros. - Parking lot island
Gaia meet-n-greet - Convention Center Lobby
Power Rangers/Super Sentai - Garden

Some other outside area's could be the Con center front entrance, corner area where bus shelter is, right sidewalk/grassy area right outside from the main ballroom, the parking garage, and the tree patch.

If no one objects I say we should meet up there sidewalk/grassy area near the main ballroom or tree patch area. But if not, we should prepare ourselves to fight off 15+ years worth of power rangers over the garden area

Wherever you decide to meet I'll be there. I'm not cosplaying and Avatar character myself but I'm making a Toph costume for one on my friends (She will be a very tall earthbender)

I'll drag along the other 2 Tophs in my anime Club too. Yes we have 3 Tophs..Elegant Toph, Pajama Toph, and Firenation Toph. It's gonna be Toph-tastic!!!

So lets all meet up by the Tree Patch area @12 noon Saturday then. If anyone doesn't like it, speak up now. If it rains we need somewhere inside. There's a lot of options but my picks would be the dome area (1st/2nd floor) or somewhere around the convention center lobby area (since its a really big place) or maybe the elevator area.

hello all, I have one really good suggestion for the gathering. What do you guys think about taking pictures by the waterfall/fountain area near the McDonalds after me meet @ the tree patch? That spot looks very, very photogenic and think its a great place to take an Avatar gathering pic. Just a thought.

I have asked the powers that be to also include an alt/rain spot which would be the Convention Center lobby since its very big, just in case it rains.

Avatar aftermath? So is this going to be like going to the local mall and terrorizing/horrorizing normal people? I can imagine it, "I challenge you to an agni kai kay bee toys sales clerk!" Avatar aftermath 1... I'm thinking beach... :irritated stare: Anyone want to go on a cruise? (I still like Zuko's volleyball idea. At least that way Azula can get her brain pounding needs out before hand.)
We all need to go on a cruise and Jin can serve us all tea. (Jin said she'd do it.)

True, I'm not sure on the price. My only issue with the beach idea is the fact that I'm going to be caked in sunblock and sitting under an umbrella all day. I don't mind it so much except for the fact that I'll be distanced from everyone. Maybe we should stick with the idea of me paying for tickets so everyone can go on the nickalodian cruse and scare the normies. Though part of me does want to save my money, the other part wants to make the avatar aftermath a very memorable thing.

Maybe if the aftermath does become rather large, we could pitch to have ppl from nick come and rep for us. publicity! (ah! azula with the paparazzi! Not to mention Ty Lee.) :hides:
I think we need to get plenty of people involved before we go and make a plan like that. Not to mention the fact that the forums are in dead mode as of right now. It might be a good thing if we can get everyone back into being involved.
