Avatar Photo shoot should be taking place at the Statue OUTSIDE, same placed we had it last year. Does anyone object to that? This may change, Katara seems to think it would be a good idea to have it inside.
We have other events that we're planning if anyone's interested in joining them.

Avatar pool party hosted by Azula, Ty Lee, Mai, and Zuko. (in the beach outfits) Will take place at the Embasy pool! We ask that you contact us before the party.

Wow, I missed out on alot since last time. Where to start? ah, thanks everyone for the welcome... oh and letting me join the group. And to Mai (Maiwithblackdaggers): I'm sorry...

I like being outside for the gathering since your surrounded by all the elements (ie Earth - from the brick structures, Water - from the fountain, Fire - from the sun, Air - from the windy breeze). But what if the weather is bad? Can all us benders use our bending to bend the weather? I think there should at least one alternative meet up spot just in case.

The pool party sounds fun. Um, just wondering...Will there be any volleyball? Also, what kind of dance do you guys plan on doing? Maybe the dragon dance?

Has the avatar dissapeared again? Its weird to not having the Avatar for the gathering.

LOL. Dragon dance! Pool party will be in a hotel pool area (not sure where yet). The dance party is more interesting. We were thinking of bringing a battery run CD player and setting it up in a random place, then DANCING! If the weather is bad for the photo shoot, it could probably be held where the Naruto one was last year (at con center near escalators). I'm so excited for Acen to come!

I can't wait, as this is my second year I'm only doing a OP cosplay this time but my goal is to get to all of my favorite show's photoshoots. So I'm defitnaly coming here.

And the best picture I can think of is if we had the same people but from the different seasons, that would rock so hard seeing all 3 Zukos.

Oh wonderful! The plans are underway!

I am definitely coming again this year, and I won't forget my camera batteries again (doh!)

I will be cosplaying as Smellerbee (same costume from Comic Con, just better), The Painted Lady, and a non Avatar Cosplay (Black from TekkenKinkreet).

I also put in a request to host an Avatar Discussion Panel. I really hope I hear back, and they except the panel. I didn't know what time the Avatar photoshoot was happening, so I requested a time slot for later Saturday afternoon, but I really think I should change that. Any suggestions?

Anyway, can't wait to see all you awesome people again!

My son gave me permission to use his Blue Spirit mask, so I will be cosplaying as a Booterfreak gag strip as well. I am not sure what day I will be doing that though. Perhaps at the Avatar Panel (crosses fingers)

Avatar_Mom: Maybe the panel time should be sometime in the morning since last year's gathering was in the morning too. I hope you request goes through. I'd appreciate having an Avatar panel to goto at Acen. Maybe you should double check w/them just to make sure they recieved your request since I've heard that some panel submissions were sent in but haven't been recieved by the staff.

sakurachan413: I doubt it but it wouldn't hurt to ask them whether it is or not.

DarkOne: Hopefully sometime in March. Your guess is as good as mine's. Maybe YTV will show it before Nick does again.

one quick question for dotpogos/MaiWithBlackDagg/sakurachan413: Since all Ozai's angels are bringing their beach/party wear, should I bring mine's too?

Wondering how peoples cosplay progress is going?

Decided to make my life a bit simpler since I'm so short on time and money and just cosplay as Longshot. I'll be buying the fabric for my cosplay in a few weeks.

Hopefully I'll be able to get everything done! If I work hard then it should be no problem.

My hair's grown out pretty nicely but don't know whether to keep it brown or black for accuracy's sake.The only hassle I have right now is putting together those pointy fire nation boots.

Btw, whats everyone's thoughts about the gathering on Saturday? All I know that its planned for Saturday...

Well I got all the fabric and patterns for the party. Now its just getting off my butt and putting it together. The swimsuit however is giving me trouble. Who would have thought that pink and white swimsuit fabric would be so hard to find? Besides that little glitch, things are running smoothly.

I love how we're all starting our costumes like a month before ACEN. Yay, procrastination!

Jgo, I think Saturdays perfect. We had it on Saturday last year, and I'm sure everyone has already made plans around it. (I know I have). It just kinda seems pointless to change it now. (PS Zuko's hair is technically a dark brown.)

Sakurachan, The reason I'm asking is because I'm not sure what time and place we're all supposed to meet up on Saturday. I'd like to know so that I can plan on ahead for other things too.
And yes, I know the hair color is dark brown but it usually ends up looking black most of the time, sometimes it does look brown too
