Well, it's been a while since I was back here. ANything new??

Some problems on if I'll be able to make it or not. My work is unwilling to compensate me if I was to take those days off.

On the up side...other cons around the US has partaken my offers for DJ'ing at their dances though.

i wish i could give you some new info but were still working out the particulars and seeing if this idea is still viable. i want this competition to go on and i'm trying my best to get everything settled.

Can someone either answer the question, or if you're going to remove it, at least tell me why it was removed?

sorry man didn't see your last post and i'm not sure why it got deleted. i've actually had a few posts deleted as well when they went to the new format on the forum.

I've talked with Khek about the battle... is little old me invited to throw down? I sure do hope so, 'cause I have a CRAZY hardcore D&B set for this year (Allen, I'm looking in your direction).

It's cliche but I gotta say the real winners of this battle are the con goers. They are gonna get like every style imaginable in some of the best sets ever. Oh yea, this will be one for the ages. Bring cameras

So um, yea... This should pretty much rock the house! I know I'm looking forward to it. But I have to ask, are we doing a battle set or a mix set for the actual battle? I don't want to show up to a gunfight with a knife is all. ^o^

well as of right now man the whole Acen vs every other con battel is still up in the air and if it was goin on you would definitely be one of our main weapons.

yeah not a problem man if you wanna enter again by all means your in as well and yes you can still spin at the car show its the whole weekend so there's lots of times and spots to spin.

I just confirmed my hotel reservation to come. Also, if you guys want, I now have numark CDX's to spin with that I can bring. I'd still like to know if you're going to have stand alone CD players or a dual unit.

Also, did you need an audition CD again to compete this year? Or will my past sets at soap bubble and underground groove count for that?

Okay, I've got an update on everything for you guys!

First off, I'm afraid that we are going to postpone the con DJ battle for this year. With the addition of DJ Chucky and No+Chin to the roster, it kind of set things off-kilter in a good way.

However, we are going to have our regular DJ contest. We'll be posting the rules for it either today or tomorrow at the latest, so keep your eyes open!
