We are looking for interest for an ACEN Cosplay Gathering at Six Flags during Fright Fest, this was taken off of the cosplay.com thread. We're lookin for about 20+ because then they will give group discounts.

Hiiii
I'm Devon, but call me Dev. I'm the organizer for the Six Flags trip and I am really excited about pulling a group together and making this work. Though I have just begun planning, I have yet to call the park to get more information, however in october, Great america is open on weekends only so it was going to be a saturday or sunday either way
Saturday dates:
7,14,21, and 28
The park is open from 10am til 11pm on those days
Sunday dates:
8,15,22, and 29
from 10am til 9pm
Luckily there is plenty of time to iron out plans. Hopefully if there are enough people we can probably charter a bus or arrange a carpool or something...I dunno

Daaaamn . . . if I can possibly get away from college (I may be in Chicago during that time anyway, and then it's just a question of bussing out or bribing the BF) I'll definitely go. What do you guys need: Jenova, Fujin, or Sailor Pluto?

Yeah, its true that the Six Flags people dont want you wearing costumes to the park. 
(kills the halloween spirit...but i guess i can understand why) but im sure if its not an elaborate cosplay, you could sneak it. ^^;;

Thanks to the craptastic service from WOW I cannot make or recieve calls on my house phone and my cell phone is not working right now. So all i can say is hang in there and be cool. I hopefully will have some infomation by next week.
As for Costuming at Six Flags, I am hearing different stories from different folks, one of which is a cousin who used to work there. He' saying they used to allow costumes during fright fest, then another person I know is saying they don't. so I Do not know yetIf I can get my hands on my boyfriend's cell I'll try to call today
As for the date, I'm leaning towards October 14th, though it is not iron set yet

Most likely. the thing is I don't know any good locations in the city that everyone could easily get to. Though I'd only do the bus charter if everyone is in agreement to it

i'll be riding to six flags with my mother and probably my brother,and since it seems that the whole costume wearing thing is confusing people and stoof if we can dress up who are you gona cosplay as?
