Welcome to Anime Central 2012.
We’ve got an exciting convention planned for you this year, and for those who may have a mobility issue, a medical condition that could become a hindrance over the weekend or any similar circumstance, we have an entire department dedicated to making sure that you won’t have to miss a single minute of the fun. Simply stop by one of our conveniently located Special Needs Help Desks, and we’ll fill you in on all of the different ways we’ve removed the barriers.
Our friendly staff is experienced in interacting with those who have special needs, and of course will keep any personal details that you may need to discuss in the strictest confidence. If you would like to have one of our free MedicInfo cards or even just want a quiet corner to feed your baby, you’ve got friends here waiting to help.
In the Hyatt, you can find us on the first floor next door to Customer Service, right in between the two hotel entrances leading in from the front driveway. In the Stephens Convention Center, you can find us at the entrance to Registration. Turn left when you go down the steps or ramp from the lobby and look for the Special Needs sign, or just keep an eye out for our Greeter at the building entrance. Be careful though, her smiles are extremely contagious.
Whatever limits you, we’ll do all we can to help keep it from being an issue, and if you do find someplace in the convention that you’re having difficulty with, let us know and we’ll send the boss himself over to fix it right away You won’t find another anime, comic or similar type of convention anywhere in America that gives you more consideration than you’ll get at Anime Central, and you have our department Manager’s personal guarantee on that.
If you have any questions, or have a situation that you’d feel more at ease making advance arrangements for, simply write us at adacompliance-departmenthead@acen.org, and you’ll get our full attention.
