Registration Info

Thank you for your interest in the Fifteenth Anniversary of Anime Central!

Registration is now open! Please read below for answers to frequently asked questions and details regarding registration. Badges can also be purchased during all three days of the convention in person at our registration booths.

If you need to contact Anime Central about a badge question or concern, the quickest way to get a hold of our Registration Team is by e-mailing registration@acen.org.

However, most answers to badge questions can be answered below, or in the Registration section of our forums.

Registration at Convention Center Hours
Thursday: 4:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.
Friday: 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Saturday: 8:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
Sunday: 8:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

Registration in the Hyatt at Liberty
Thursday: 4:00 p.m. – 1:00 a.m.
Friday: 8:00 a.m. – 1:00 a.m.
Saturday: 8:00 a.m. – 1:00 a.m.
Sunday: CLOSED

Will-call opens at the Hyatt Registration when the Convention Center Registration is closed. Badges can ONLY be purchased at the Hyatt Registration after the Convention Center Registration closes until 1am.

Anyone needing services from the Liberty room after it is closed will be directed to Registration in the Convention Center.

Hours for both areas of Registration are subject to change without notice. Doors close at the stated closing time, but we do finish the registrations for those in line.

Membership Pricing – Pre-Registration

Adult
August 15th – September 15th = $43
September 16th – December 15th = $48
December 16th – March 15th = $53
March 16th – April 15th = $60 Will Call Only!

Child
August 15th – March 15th = $10
March 16th – April 15th = $15 Will Call Only!
    Child must be 12 or younger at the time of the convention

Toddler
Free (Maximum of 2 children per paying adult)
    Toddler must be 0-5 yrs at the time of the convention

Shipping
Badges can be shipped for an additional $2 each. Badges must be purchased and payment received by March 15th and the mailing option selected to be eligible for shipping. All others will be available for pickup at a will call station at the convention. Mailing begins in January. We will announce in the Registration section of the forum along with our newsletter when all badges purchased before specific dates have been sent out.

Cash – US currency only, and ONLY at our ROADSHOW LOCATIONS
    Repeat – We do not accept paper or coin money in the mail!

Full Weekend Badges
Adult = $60
Child = $15

Single Day Badges – Adult
Friday = $35
Saturday = $35
Sunday = $25

Single Day Badges – Child
There are no single day prices for children’s badges.
This year we are pleased to announce Childrens’ Day at ACen. On Sunday April 29th ONLY, all children 12 & under accompanied by an adult are FREE!!! Maximum of 2 children per paying adult.

Friday and Saturday badges can be purchased the day of or the day before their use. Sunday badges can only be purchased on Sunday.

At Convention payments accepted are

Check – Business only. We no longer accept personal checks at the convention.
Money Order

The following Badge Types are not available for online purchase:
Friday Only, Saturday Only, Sunday Only.

For specialty badges, such as Artist or Panelist badges, attendee should refer to those specific department policies.

For Artist Alley badge questions please contact ArtShow@acen.org.

For Panelist badge questions please contact panelprogramming@acen.org.
If you’re applying for a panel, do not pay for your badge yet. Panelists will be instructed on when they should pay if their panel is denied. You will not be refunded to get a complimentary badge.

How to register

Groups

Groups Discount
This discount applies to online purchase of Full Weekend Adult badges only.
There is no group discount at the convention and it does not apply on top of any other discounts.
Groups will no longer be able to pay at the convention.

Group Size 10-19 – $2 discount
Group Size 20+ – $5 discount

Note:

  • Attendees purchasing a Child or Toddler badge CAN join a group, however they do not count towards the group discount.
  • Complimentary badges can NOT be part of a group due to the special processing required.

How to create/join/manage a group

Policies

Convention policies, times, dates, etc are always subject to change.

ACen Badges, as well as additional badge options, are non-transferable and non-refundable; use of an ACen badge by any person other than the original holder is not allowed and will result in badge confiscation. Badges may not be duplicated in any fashion. The holder of a badge shall agree to surrender the badge to any MAPS officer or representative on request. When you purchase a badge for ACen you agree to the above terms.

All badge names are subject to staff approval. We are a family friendly convention and names deemed inappropriate by staff will be changed.

Anime Central does not accept responsibility for any lost mail and/or payments. So please do not send cash through the mail.

If your check bounces you will be charged a $25 fee before you may complete the payment of your badge.
