1998 was Anime Central’s first year

It was on April 3-5 at the Holiday Inn International O’Hare

The hotel was “superb for AC’s needs” and rooms were $90 a night! As you can see, our mascots have been with us from the start, even Kit is featured down in the corner. Everyone had dial-up then – so the images are small – and registration was by mail in only.
